There is something refreshing about a player who understands that basketball does not have to be complicated. Troy has built his game around efficiency, toughness, and making the right play at the right time. While some players chase difficult shots and flashy highlights, Troy thrives by doing the things that directly impact winning. He sees the floor exceptionally well, scores at all three levels, and consistently finds ways to put pressure on defenses without wasting movement. His ability to get to his spots, play under control, and create offense with purpose makes him one of those players who seems to be in the right place at the right time over and over again. Add in his versatility on both ends of the floor, and it becomes easy to understand why he has become such an important piece for every team he represents.

His junior season at Munster was a story of growth, resilience, and a team finding its identity. The season did not begin the way many had hoped. With several young players and new faces entering the program, the chemistry and rhythm were not there immediately. Instead of allowing frustration to creep in, the team stayed together and continued working. As the season progressed, everything began to click. Munster improved steadily, captured an outright conference championship for the ninth consecutive year, and advanced to the sectional semifinals. Troy played a major role in that success while averaging 14.5 points, 6 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game. His efforts earned him NCC First Team All-Conference honors, an accomplishment built through the countless hours of work he invested long before the season ever started.

That momentum has carried directly into a strong AAU season with the Midwest Renegades. Troy has continued proving he can produce against quality competition while impacting games in a variety of ways. At P32 Session 2 in Dallas, he averaged 15.75 points per game while posting scoring performances of 16, 22, 16, and 9 points. His play continued at the WI Playmakers Ball Till You Fall Showcase, where he scored 18 points against WI Playmakers 17U before delivering another 16-point effort against Hoop Habits. In that victory over Hoop Habits, he came up with several huge plays late in the game that helped secure the win. The biggest reason for his success has been his ability to attack off the bounce, attack gaps, and consistently get to his spots. When Troy plays aggressively and attacks with confidence, he becomes extremely difficult to contain.

What stands out most about Troy's game is his understanding of efficiency. He takes tremendous pride in making the easy plays look easy. Whether it is making free throws, finishing at the rim, converting putbacks, or making the simple basketball play, he understands that winning often comes from consistency rather than being complicated. He believes unnecessary dribbling creates unnecessary problems, so he focuses on getting where he needs to go with as few dribbles as possible. That approach allows him to play under control while maximizing scoring opportunities and minimizing mistakes.

One of the biggest improvements in his game from the high school season into AAU has been his shot-making ability. As his confidence has grown, so has his ability to score in a variety of situations. Defenders are finding it increasingly difficult to predict how he will attack because he continues adding weapons to his offensive arsenal. That growth has allowed him to become even more dangerous when games become competitive, and possessions become more important.

Adversity arrived before his sophomore season when he suffered a broken hand just one month before the year began. For a player who genuinely loves the game, being sidelined was difficult. At the same time, the injury gave him a new perspective and appreciation for basketball. It reminded him how quickly opportunities can disappear and reinforced the importance of competing every time he steps on the floor. That experience continues to motivate him today and has helped shape the mindset he carries into every game. Troy plays with urgency because he understands that every opportunity to compete is a privilege.

His offseason focus is locked in on improving his ball-handling and three-point shooting while continuing to strengthen every area of his game. He understands that becoming a more complete player will create even more opportunities moving forward. One of his goals for the remainder of the AAU season is to earn a college offer, and his long-term goals extend to having a successful college career and eventually playing professionally at whatever level the game takes him. His love for basketball continues to fuel that pursuit every single day.

When coaches evaluate Troy, they are getting much more than statistics. They are getting a hardworking, coachable, respectful player who embraces accountability and understands what it takes to win. They are getting someone who impacts games without needing constant attention and someone willing to do whatever is necessary to help his team succeed. Looking ahead to next season, Troy expects to lead Munster to a sectional championship and continue building on the success his program has established. Based on the way he approaches the game and the work he continues to put in, those goals are well within reach.

I assess that Troy is a versatile two-way player whose efficiency, decision-making, and scoring ability make him a valuable asset in any lineup. His ability to impact games without dominating the basketball stands out, and his understanding of spacing, timing, and offensive flow allows him to consistently make winning plays. He brings toughness, maturity, and a team-first approach that translates directly to success on the court.

College programs looking for dependable wings who understand how to play the game should take notice. Troy brings production, intelligence, positional versatility, and a strong work ethic. His continued development as a shooter and ball-handler only increases his value moving forward. The combination of skill, coachability, and competitive drive gives him the tools to thrive at the next level while positively impacting a program's culture and success.
