Kevay put together a productive season, averaging 7.1 points, 2.5 assists, 2 steals, and 3 rebounds per game while making 29 three-pointers. One of the biggest stories of his season was the growth of his jump shot. During his junior year, shooting from the outside was not a major part of his game, but through countless hours of work, it became one of his biggest strengths. That improvement opened the floor for both himself and his teammates, allowing him to play with more confidence and attack defenses in different ways. His hard work was rewarded with his team's Most Improved Player award while also finishing eighth in the Capital City area in made three-pointers and three-point percentage, proving just how much his game had evolved.

During AAU, Kevay competed with Indiana Hoops, where he averaged 15 points, 6 assists, and 2 steals per game. Although he didn't play AAU this summer because of his Class of 2026 status, another exciting chapter has already begun. He has committed to Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College, where he will continue both his academic and basketball career. That opportunity reflects the steady work he has put into developing his game and preparing for the next level.

One of the biggest lessons Kevay learned this past year was understanding how to change the flow of a game. As he gained more experience, the game began to slow down, allowing him to recognize key moments when his team needed a defensive stop, a big shot, or a smart play to shift momentum. That growth came through repetition, experience, and learning to trust himself in every situation.

The work behind the scenes continues every day. Kevay is spending his offseason putting up plenty of shots, especially from deeper range as he prepares for the college three-point line. He is staying in the weight room, competing against other talented players, studying the game, and continuing to build every area of his skill set. His goal is to earn playing time early, prove he can make an impact, and continue developing into the best player he can become.

Defense has become one of the biggest reasons Kevay impacts winning. He believes great defense starts with heart, effort, and basketball IQ. By staying in the right position and reading the floor, he creates steals, deflections, and extra possessions that often change the momentum of a game. Nothing excites him more than taking an opposing point guard out of rhythm because he knows how valuable that can be to his team's success. His energy on the defensive end spreads throughout the lineup and gives his teammates another spark to build from.
