Last season, Tate averaged 15.2 points and 3.5 assists per game, showcasing his ability to fill multiple roles on the court. While Tate's ball-handling and playmaking are elite, his biggest improvement came on the defensive side, where his tenacity made him a lockdown presence. Tate's goal to win a post-grad championship and gain more college exposure is driven by his relentless focus on becoming stronger and more impactful. For Tate, teamwork is what will help them achieve success, and he believes that unity will determine how far his team can go.
One of Tate's proudest achievements is being selected for an all-region all-star game in Texas, validating his skill and work ethic. Tate thrives on intense games, fueled by moments when adversity tests his resolve. Tate enjoys playing video games and listening to music off the court, but his primary focus remains on the grind. With an offer from the University of Saint Mary’s in Kansas, Tate understands what it takes to reach the next level.
