Every team needs a player willing to do the little things that don't always fill the stat sheet, and Cole has built his game on exactly that mindset. He brings relentless effort, tough defense, and nonstop energy every time he steps on the floor. His defensive intensity creates turnovers that quickly turn into transition points, giving his team extra scoring opportunities while setting the tone on both ends of the court. Whether he's diving after loose balls, battling for rebounds, or locking down his matchup, Cole plays with the kind of fire and determination that teammates feed off of. His game is built on consistency, toughness, and doing whatever it takes to help his team win.
Cole averaged 10 points per game during the high school season and has maintained that production throughout the offseason, averaging over 10 points per game in AAU with TA Select. One of the biggest moments of his season came when Eaton stormed back from a 21-point halftime deficit against University to pull off an unforgettable comeback victory. Games like that showed the toughness and belief inside the team while giving Cole valuable experience in pressure situations. Every game and every tournament has continued to build confidence as he prepares for another important high school season.
The biggest step forward in Cole's game this offseason has been his confidence. There was a time when believing in himself didn't always come naturally, but months of hard work have changed that. As his confidence has grown, so has his willingness to attack opportunities, trust his game, and play with even greater purpose. That growing confidence has allowed his natural strengths to shine brighter while making him an even more dependable piece on both ends of the floor.
Physicality also became one of the biggest challenges Cole faced this year. Instead of allowing stronger opponents to push him around, he attacked the problem head-on. Countless hours in the weight room helped him gain strength and add weight, making him much more aggressive and physical every time he steps on the court. That work continues today because he knows becoming stronger will only make every part of his game even better.
Faith has become one of the strongest foundations in Cole's basketball journey. He is thankful God has blessed him with good health and protected him from major injuries that could have slowed his progress. He is equally grateful for the coaches and teammates he has been able to build relationships with through their shared faith. That support system has helped shape not only the player he is becoming but also the person he continues to grow into every day.
Colorado Live became another important step in Cole's development. The event helped him better understand his role within the team while also giving him a deeper feel for how his teammates play with him. Just as important, he believes the showcase gave his coaches a clearer picture of how valuable he can be in late-game situations and how they can involve him even more when games matter most. Experiences like that continue building chemistry while preparing Eaton for the challenges ahead.
Behind every strong performance is a commitment to the daily grind. Cole spends his offseason working with both a basketball trainer and a strength trainer, making sure he improves every chance he gets. His biggest focus remains adding strength and continuing to develop into a more physical player while expanding every area of his game. He understands that success isn't built overnight but through consistent work long before the lights come on.
Cole has big goals for the future. He wants TA Select to continue gaining recognition throughout the basketball community while helping Eaton make a run to the state tournament this winter. Looking farther ahead, his dream is to continue playing basketball at the college level wherever the opportunity takes him. More than anything, he wants to keep improving while doing whatever he can to help his teams succeed.
Every time Cole steps on the floor, coaches know they are getting maximum effort, a dependable teammate, and someone willing to embrace whatever role helps the team most. Eaton has its sights set on reaching the state tournament, and Cole believes this group has both the talent and determination to make that goal a reality. With his relentless motor, growing confidence, dynamic defensive presence, and team-first approach, expect him to continue making winning plays that impact games far beyond the final score.
I assess that Cole is the kind of player every winning team needs. His relentless effort, defensive intensity, growing confidence, and willingness to embrace his role allow him to impact games in countless ways. As he continues adding strength and confidence to his already dependable game, his overall value continues to rise.
Cole's game is built on toughness, consistency, and putting the team first. He creates energy with his defense, turns stops into offense, competes with a nonstop motor, and continues making steady improvements every offseason. As his offensive game keeps expanding and his physical development continues, expect him to become an even bigger piece for Eaton while putting himself in position to chase his goal of playing college basketball. Stay tuned.
