Colt can flat-out put on a show. The talented young guard is quickly making a name for himself as one of Kentucky's most dangerous shooters regardless of class. Defenses have to pick him up well beyond the three-point line because of his unlimited range. Give him even a sliver of space, and he can make it rain in a hurry. What makes Colt even more dangerous is that he isn't simply a shooter standing around waiting for opportunities. He combines a high basketball IQ with vision, playmaking ability, change of pace, hesitation moves, and the ability to score in traffic. The result is a young guard who constantly keeps defenders guessing and forces opponents into difficult choices every time he touches the basketball.

The production has been impossible to ignore. Colt is averaging 13 points per game in summer varsity competition while continuing to prove he belongs against older competition. His AAU performances have been even more eye-opening. He exploded for 48 points while raining in 8 three-pointers, poured in 38 points with 4 triples, went off for for 35 points while making an incredible 11 shots from deep, and added another 31-point performance with 6 made threes durning his blistering summer so far Those aren't just good scoring games but statement performances that showcase the type of scoring firepower capable of changing a game in a matter of minutes.

While the shooting often grabs the headlines, Colt understands there is another level waiting for him. He believes his biggest strengths are his ability to shoot the ball lights out and his high basketball IQ, but he is already focused on expanding his game. Attacking the rim more consistently is a priority. Developing a strong middy is another area of emphasis. Those additions would make an already explosive offensive weapon even more difficult to contain because defenders would no longer be able to simply focus on taking away the three-point shot.

One of the biggest improvements in Colt's game has come on the defensive end. His defense has taken a significant step forward and continues to improve as he gains experience and confidence. Instead, he wants to become more aggressive, expand every area of his game, and continue evolving into a player who can impact winning in multiple ways.

The scary part for opponents is that Colt is only getting started. The shooting ability already separates him from most players his age. The vision, playmaking, and feel for the game continue to grow. His confidence is rising, his defensive game is improving, and his hunger to get better remains strong. Those qualities are exactly why many believe Ohio County could be home to one of Kentucky's next rising stars.

I assess that Colt is a dynamic young guard whose shooting ability immediately changes the way defenses must play. His unlimited range creates constant pressure and opens opportunities all over the floor. Combine that with strong vision, a high IQ, and improving defensive instincts, and you have a player whose impact extends far beyond scoring. His willingness to identify weaknesses and attack them shows the mindset coaches love to see in developing players.

Colt has already established himself as one of Kentucky's top young shooters, but his ceiling goes far beyond being known as a sniper. His ability to score from deep, make plays for others, change speeds, and create offense gives him tremendous potential moving forward. As he becomes more aggressive attacking the basket and develops his middy, his offensive arsenal will become even more dangerous. The combination of skill, confidence, and work ethic gives him a chance to become a special player over the next several years.

Expect Colt to continue stretching defenses with his elite shooting while steadily expanding the rest of his game. Expect bigger scoring performances, continued growth as a playmaker, and increased impact on the defensive end.
