North Union HS, IA

Khael attacks the game with a fierce, electric style that instantly demands attention. He lives in attack mode, exploding to the rim with fearless intent while keeping defenders honest with a confident outside shot. His handle is tight, creative, and built for separation, letting him navigate traffic and get wherever he wants on the floor. When the ball is in his hands, the energy shifts. Khael dictates tempo, pressures defenses, and sets the tone with a scoring flame that heats up fast. His confidence in big moments and ability to keep the offense steady make him a true engine for North Union. Even as he continues to push his vision and awareness, his natural feel as a dynamic guard already shines through every possession.

Last season was a full breakout showcase of who he is and what he brings to the floor. Khael had 371 points on 16.1 points per game, shot 41.1 percent from the field and 33.3 percent from deep, while adding 120 assists, 118 rebounds, and 71 steals. That level of production speaks for itself, but his biggest improvement came from seeing the entire court and understanding the flow of the game from start to finish. He opened this new season like a storm, with 23 points, 8 assists, and 6 rebounds while shooting a blistering 44.4 percent from three and 47.1 percent from the field. The growth is obvious, and he is only getting started. Khael wants to elevate his ball handling even further, sharpen his court vision, and grow into an even stronger leader for his team. Breaking his school’s scoring record was a defining moment, proof that his hard work and relentless drive continue to push him forward.

He has Bishop Garrigan circled on the calendar, and he promises to bring full control, full confidence, and the ability to take over whenever the game calls for it. Khael expects himself to command the offense with purpose, push his teammates to elevate with him, and stack wins for his team. Nothing fires him up more than hitting a three or making a move that gets the entire gym buzzing. And when facing adversity, he becomes the calm voice his teammates rally around. He reminds them that basketball is a game of runs, that there is always another push coming, and that they are built to respond. The best coaching advice he has received is, "As a point guard, he must know the move he’s going to make before he makes it." That awareness is shaping him into a more fierce, more dangerous leader on the floor.

Off the court, Khael enjoys time with friends and dives into college and NBA games to keep learning. That hunger to study the game and expand his craft shows everywhere he goes. And with a preferred walk-on spot from Southwestern CC already in hand, his work is beginning to open real doors. Coaches should tap in now, his rise is just beginning, and his ceiling reaches far beyond what he’s already shown.

I assess that Khael brings a combination of scoring, creation, and competitive fire that translates well to a college setting. His ability to attack gaps, make plays off the dribble, and shoot with confidence forces defenses into difficult decisions. He controls the flow of the offense with his decision-making and energizes his team with his pace and toughness. Programs looking for a guard who can run a team, shift momentum, and elevate the players around him will see immediate value in what he offers.

As he continues strengthening his court vision, ball handling, and leadership presence, expect Khael to grow into a commanding lead guard. His early-season performance shows he is ready to shoulder more responsibility and impact games on multiple levels. His scoring ability is proven, his confidence is rising, and his leadership mindset is taking shape. Moving forward, he is poised to be a dynamic contributor capable of controlling games, pushing tempo, and delivering in big moments as he rises toward his full potential. Stay tuned.
