Lauren brings a high energy, nonstop movement, and a mindset built on doing whatever it takes to win. She sets the tone from the jump, attacking every possession with purpose, whether it’s scoring, setting up teammates, crashing the boards, or locking in for a stop. She plays like the engine that keeps everything running, and when she’s going, the whole team rises with her.
She stepped into the season ready. Coming off a high-level AAU run, the pace, the physicality, the expectations, none of it caught her off guard. From the very beginning, she was in command, helping guide her team through a tough schedule that was built to prepare them for the moments that mattered most. That preparation paid off as the season unfolded, with her consistency and leadership showing up night after night.
Her numbers tell the story of a player who impacts the stat sheet, averaging 10 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists, 4.3 steals, and 6 deflections per game, across-the-board production. The stat that stands out most to her is the assists, and it makes sense. She sees the floor, delivers the ball on time, and takes pride in putting teammates in position to succeed. She leads from the front in multiple categories, showing just how much ground she covers every time she steps on the court.
The team's success speaks just as loudly. A 27-3 record. The best start in school history. Regular season district champions and district tournament champions. For Lauren, that’s what matters most. The wins, the banners, the shared success. That team-first mindset shows up in everything she does.
Postseason brought a different level of pressure, but nothing new to her. Years of playing in high-level tournaments had already built that edge. She stayed locked in, focused, and driven to do whatever her team needed in those moments. No drop off, no hesitation, just steady play when everything tightened up.
Adversity hit during a tough district loss at White County. It was a moment that could have shaken things, but instead it sharpened the focus. She stayed driven, kept her team together, and they responded by finishing strong, not dropping another game until postseason play. That response says everything about her mindset and leadership.
Her biggest improvement in leadership. Not just playing hard, but owning the floor vocally and by example. She brought energy that teammates fed off, directing traffic, setting the tone, and making sure the standard never dipped. When the lights got bright, that leadership showed up stronger.
What separates Lauren is her combination of size, strength, and skill at the guard position. She handles the ball with confidence, attacks the paint, and makes smart decisions that keep the offense flowing. Add in her athleticism, her ability to elevate, rebound, and disrupt passing lanes, and she becomes a problem on both ends. She’s not one-dimensional. She does everything, and she does it with force.
Now with the TN Trotters, she’s stepping into more time at the point guard position and embracing it. Running the show, controlling pace, and continuing to expand her game. She’s looking to prove she’s not just a complete player, but also an elite scorer who can take over when needed while still doing all the little things that win games.
Coaches can expect a player who brings a team-first, winning mindset every time she steps on the floor. Energy, leadership, toughness, and production in every category. No shortcuts, no drop in effort, just consistent impact from start to finish.
I assess that Lauren is a high-motor guard who impacts the game in every phase with energy, toughness, and awareness. Her ability to fill the stat sheet while leading her team to major success shows her value goes far beyond scoring. She creates opportunities for others, controls the flow, and disrupts opponents defensively with intensity and anticipation. Her leadership growth adds another layer to her already well-rounded game.
Lauren has the tools to continue rising as a complete guard. Her size, athleticism, and versatility allow her to play multiple roles, and her development at the point guard position opens even more possibilities. Continued growth as a scorer and tightening her offensive consistency will elevate her ceiling even higher. With her mindset and all-around production, she brings a winning impact that translates at the next level. Stay tuned.
