Central Baptist College, TX

Mac hits the floor with a fire that is impossible to miss. He plays with the attitude of a pure competitor, a creator who thrives in tight spaces, breaks down defenses, and punishes teams that underestimate his playmaking gift. His vision sparks momentum, his passing opens the floor for everyone around him, and his shooting demands real attention the second he crosses half court. What truly separates Mac is how he elevates his game when the moment demands it. That showed up in full force when Central Baptist College marched into powerhouse John Brown and pulled off a history-making upset. In a game no one expected them to win, Mac delivered a fierce 17 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists, and 3 steals, proving he is built for pressure and built for big nights that rewrite stories.

This past season, he expanded his athleticism and speed, taking his development to another level. Mac wants to continue building on that growth by pushing his shot to an even higher level and attacking the offseason with the same all-in mindset that fuels him every day. His ability to finish around the basket is another area he is working on, so he can convert through contact and be a more complete scoring threat. The first home opener of the year brought one of his best flashes of leadership when he dished out 6 assists, setting the tone for how he wanted to guide this team.

Mac steps onto the floor, ready to compete against anybody. He does not worry about rivalries or names on jerseys. What fires him up is the thought of losing because he cannot stand the feeling of letting a moment slip away. Coaches are getting a leader who competes with purpose, talks on both ends, and brings the same standard whether the team is up or down. He is looking forward to another stacked non-conference schedule filled with strong competition because those battles are where he shines the brightest.

When facing adversity, Mac resets himself with a breath and a quiet prayer, then steps back onto the floor with a clear mind, ready to overcome anything thrown at him. His favorite piece of coaching advice is, "Success happens when preparation meets opportunity." Off the court, Mac enjoys spending time with family and enjoying video games, a balance that keeps him mentally sharp and emotionally anchored.

Mac’s playmaking instincts and ability to create advantages make him a valuable piece. His passing opens up the offense, his shooting stretches defenses, and his competitive nature ensures he never disappears in big moments. When combined with his growing athleticism and defensive activity, he becomes a guard who impacts winning in all phases of the game.

The upset over John Brown showed exactly what Mac is becoming. A guard who embraces pressure, lifts his team through intensity, and changes a game through leadership and production. As he continues strengthening his finishing and expanding his athletic tools, Mac has the potential to turn into one of the most reliable and complete guards at his level. Expect him to keep rising, keep competing, and keep delivering nights that make noise far beyond his own conference. Stay tuned.v
