"Speed in Motion: The Electric Playmaker"

Thomas Maddox

@tommymaddox0

5’10, 165lbs, Class of 2026

Holy Cross District HS, KY

Thomas is a dynamic two-way threat with electric speed, athleticism, and fearless confidence. As a dual-threat quarterback, he brings his ability to break the pocket and take off downfield, turning busted plays into highlights. Thomas doesn’t just escape; he uses his shifty footwork and top-tier speed to weave through traffic and leave defenders grasping at air. With a strong football IQ and a motor that never stops, he plays with purpose and passion, every snap, every yard, every moment. He’s not just a quarterback, he’s a weapon. And while his arm can deliver, his legs are what set him apart.

This past offseason, Thomas dedicated himself to the weight room, making noticeable improvement in strength to complement his already explosive speed. That added power only makes him more dangerous as he builds toward a revenge season, still fueled by the sting of a district loss to a rival. Every time he lines up, he scans the defense for weakness, looking for misalignments he can exploit with his mind or his feet. He brings a leadership presence defined by physicality, urgency, and that burning desire to win. Winning fuels his fire. And when facing adversity, he steps away to refocus and returns locked in. He has his eyes set on playing D1 football, whether at the FCS level or a strong D2 program, and he’s ready to give everything it takes to get there. He currently holds 10 offers. Coaches can expect a fast, physical competitor who does everything with intention and focus, a player who commands the offense with tempo and purpose.

Thomas brings unique value as a quarterback who can beat defenses in multiple ways. His speed, vision, and confidence under pressure make him a nightmare to defend. For college programs, he offers immediate versatility and explosive potential in the right system, especially those that value mobility and decision-making at the QB spot. His leadership and competitive spirit give him an edge on and off the field.

As Thomas continues to grow in strength and elevate his overall game, expect a more complete, confident playmaker who can lead a program and turn games in an instant. His potential to develop into a true offensive centerpiece is strong, and his hunger to compete will keep pushing him forward. Wherever he lands, he’s going to make his mark.
