Cole is a powerful, high-level two-way player who brings the full package every time he steps on the floor. He has some serious bounce, length, and mobility; he causes constant problems on both ends. He can score in so many ways, lethal from deep with a smooth touch, explosive driving downhill, and tough around the rim. With court vision beyond his years, he threads dazzling dimes and knows how to get teammates involved. On defense, he’s a relentless force, locking down the other team’s best player, protecting the rim with ruthless shot blocking, and cleaning the glass like the Windex man.. With his size, athleticism, and feel for the game, he’s a matchup nightmare and a highlight machine waiting to happen.
After averaging 20 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists, and 2 blocks per game, Cole’s presence was felt across the board. His biggest improvement came in his defense and consistency as a shooter, no longer just a scorer but a total package. Guarding the top scorers on opposing teams sharpened him in every way, and now he’s embracing the challenge of learning to create more off the bounce. The confidence to go get his own shot and stay locked in on both ends has been a game-changer. His fire comes from competition, especially when someone thinks they can take him, and he answers that with effort, energy, and edge. Whether it’s pouring in threes or dominating inside, he does it all with the same level of intensity and confidence.
Cole’s been a breakout performer for Breakaway on the 3SSB circuit, leading 17U in rebounding and becoming a known stopper on defense while keeping his reputation as a go-to scorer. At events like the Oswego East Shootout, he turned heads with a 40-point, 15-rebound, 5-assist game, doing damage from deep, in the post, and on drives. He’s earned high praise for his IQ, tempo, and all-around production, and after a strong call with Coach Monaghan and Coach Hoiberg, he received a DI offer from the University of Nebraska. And he’s just getting started.
Cole’s focus is locked on having a great season and continuing to win at a high level. The 3SSB events have helped him showcase his full game and build confidence against national competition, and now he’s determined to keep rising. He stays grounded by trusting himself and staying locked in mentally, knowing that at the next level, every opponent will be elite. But so is he.
Off the court, Cole enjoys boating and lake days to relax and recharge, but make no mistake, his mind stays on the grind.
I assess that Cole’s mix of size, skill, and motor makes him a game-changer for any program. His ability to defend multiple positions, dominate the boards, and score from anywhere makes him one of the most versatile forwards in his class. Coaches can rely on him to lead by example with effort and intensity, while also making plays for others and delivering big performances when it matters most.
As he continues developing his handles and off-the-dribble scoring, Cole’s already sky-high ceiling will only rise. He has the tools, mindset, and athleticism to thrive at the next level and beyond. With his growth, leadership, and two-way production, Cole is pushing to be a national-level problem in the Class of 2028. If he wasn't already on your radar, lock him in now. Better than hype but a real deal prime time performer. Buckle up y'all, he's just getting started. Stay tuned.
