Mitchel is an explosive high flyer with an insane motor and freakish athleticism. Mitchel is known as a prolific shooter and runs the floor well. He is a beast on the boards, has a high IQ, and solid defender. Plus he can shoot the ball. Despite his size, he is a strong ball handler and a record-holder in 3-point shooting. He is a wicked cross between a shooting guard and a slashing power forward.
This past season Mitchel averaged 14.5 points, 6.8 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 1.3 blocks, and .084 steals per game. The most motivating thing that happened last season for Mitchel that will push him forward was losing to their rival twice before beating them the next two times. This off-season Mitchel strived to improve his ball handling and defense. Mitchel's goal for this upcoming season is to win both their region and conference championships.
The thing that motivates Mitchel the most is winning. The way Mitchel handles adversity is by cheering on his teammates and keeping a good attitude.
What a coach can expect from Mitchel that separates him from everyone else is his willingness to do whatever it takes to win.
Mitchel sees himself playing at a high D2 or low D1. He is determined to be a two-sport athlete on the next level.
I assess Mitchel to be a high-level potential athlete. He would be a great fit for D1 in two sports. A steal for any program as he will have an instant impact. He would develop in year one and be a big contributor afterward. His lethal shooting, defense, and athleticism really stand out. It's going to be a monster season for Mitchel. He is out of the shadows of the past seniors. He is locked in and ready to add to the record books. Buckle up for a heck of a final run.
