Electric on both ends of the floor, Dominic is the kind of dynamic two-way weapon every coach dreams of building around. With an elite shooting stroke that stretches defenses to the arc and beyond, he’s equally comfortable dazzling with crafty footwork, quick-twitch changes of direction, and explosive pull-ups in traffic. A fierce competitor, he’s not just a bucket, he’s a versatile scorer who thrives at all three levels. Whether slashing through defenders or launching rainmakers from deep, Dominic makes every possession dangerous. On defense, he’s a nightmare matchup: long, alert, and tenacious. He takes pride in being able to guard every position on the court, locking down guards with quick hands and disrupting bigs with active feet and anticipation. His court vision adds even more flavor to his game, dropping dazzling dimes in transition and zipping precision passes to the open man. Every move he makes is electric, he doesn’t just play the game, he attacks it.
After earning a starting spot as a freshman, Dominic averaged 10 points per game while boasting a 56.7% eFG, a perfect 100% from the free throw line, and a lethal 42.0% from three. In the biggest moments of the season, he rose to the occasion, helping knock off the three-time defending 4A state champs with timely threes and poise under pressure. In the title game, with his team down and their go-to player fouled out, Dominic became the focal point and delivered by hitting a tough shot over the state Player of the Year to keep the dream alive. The moment didn’t overwhelm him. It fueled him. Since then, he’s been locked in on evolving his game, working to become a primary scoring threat by adding stronger finishes, tighter handles, and more mid-range control. His biggest improvement this offseason has been his ability to finish through contact and create off the bounce. His motivation is redemption. That narrow championship loss sharpened his focus and reignited the fire.
This spring and summer, Dominic is playing for the WV Gold 15U PRO16 squad, a program known for its fierce competition and top-tier exposure. In their recent undefeated run at Grand Rapids, he averaged 12 points per game, showing he can dominate against elite travel ball talent. With national championship aspirations on the line, Dominic has his eyes set on the PRO16 finals and the live July sessions in Wichita, KS, and Bryan, TX, major stages where he’s ready to make serious noise. What he looks forward to most is competing at the highest level and proving that he belongs among the best.
Off the court, Dominic enjoys spending time with family, being outdoors, and finding a balance between his grind and his peace. He’s grounded by a belief in discipline, faith, and surrounding himself with people who push him to be better. What fuels him most is adversity. When he’s doubted, he answers with action. Losing the state title wasn’t a setback. It was ammunition. Every early-morning rep and late-night shot since then has been about making sure next time, the story ends differently.
Dominic handles adversity with a calm edge, never rattled, always ready. Whether it’s foul trouble, a cold shooting night, or a defensive assignment on the opposing star, he doesn’t back down. His best advice came from someone who told him: “You can’t control everything, but you can always control your effort.” That message shows up in the way he plays which is hard, smart, and with relentless energy from tip-off to the final buzzer.
I assess that Dominic is a rare mix of offensive polish and defensive grit. His ability to knock down shots from deep, create his own looks, and guard multiple positions gives him the versatility to thrive at the next level. His basketball IQ and feel for the game stand out, especially for a player so early in his high school career. With his motor, his physical tools, and his ability to elevate his play in big moments, he’s the kind of player who shifts momentum and energizes a program.
College coaches will love Dominic’s ability to impact both ends. As a shooter, he forces defenses to stretch, creating space for teammates and opening up lanes. On defense, his length and tenacity allow him to be a stopper across positions. He reads the game instinctively, processes quickly, and makes smart decisions in real-time. As he continues to expand his scoring package and physical strength, expect him to develop into a go-to scoring guard who also carries the defensive load. His potential is high, and his ceiling continues to rise.
Expect Dominic to come back hungrier than ever in Year 2. He’s positioning himself as the main offensive threat for George Washington and will be a name to circle during AAU live periods this summer. With continued growth, he’s on track to be one of the most impactful players in his class maybe not just in West Virginia, but nationally. His growth and development over this season alone has been awesome to see. As a freshman, the reality is that Dominic is still just scratching the surface of how good he will become. Hungry and playing with purpose beyond his years. Stay tuned cause this young stud will be must-see TV.
