Every possession matters, and with scouting reports coming at her every night, she takes pride in helping her coach execute the plan on the floor. But don’t get it twisted, she’s not just directing traffic. She can go get it, too, and that balance is what makes her so tough to deal with.

Averaging 17 points, 5 boards, and 3 assists a game as a freshman doesn’t just happen. Emery built that edge over time, playing up against boys and older competition, forcing herself to adjust, compete, and grow. Every game became an opportunity to get better and push her team to win. That hunger shows in how she plays. There’s no hesitation in her approach, just a steady drive to compete and come out on top.

Then there was that night. A 52-point explosion that set a school record. One of those performances that doesn’t just happen, it unfolds in real time. Emery knew early.
