Hawk is a triple-threat scoring machine with a nonstop motor and a love for the game that shines through everything he does. Whether it’s a deep three, a strong take to the rim, or a tough middy, Hawk delivers with confidence and pace. He’s a smooth shooter with a confident release and has grown into a serious perimeter threat, knocking down the three at a blistering 41% clip this past season after jumping from 27% the year before. But Hawk isn’t just a scorer. His energy on both ends of the floor impacts games in ways that don’t always show up in the box score. He’s relentless on the glass, crafty with the ball, and has a strong feel for where the next play is developing. His defensive swagger and ability to rise in pressure moments make him a matchup problem with no off-switch.

This past season, Hawk averaged 19.7 points, 7.4 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 1.5 blocks, and 0.7 steals per game. His biggest improvement was his confidence from deep, and it changed how defenses had to guard him. Now he's spending his offseason building on that foundation, working on full-speed ball-handling, strengthening his body for contact finishes, and learning to push himself to game speed in every rep. He plays AAU for Kentucky Supreme, averaging 12 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 assists per game. His focus has been on handling pressure and maintaining control at high speeds. His biggest test yet will come in Indianapolis at the largest tournament he’s ever played in, a challenge he’s hyped to embrace. That hunger to improve is matched by his determination to earn more varsity time and play against the best night in and night out.

Hawk’s drive goes beyond stats. His most defining moment this past season wasn’t a shot or a stat, it was watching his team’s seniors walk off the court after a tough regional loss. That moment hit hard and gave him fuel. He realized time is short and every second counts and that realization has pushed his work ethic into overdrive. What fires him up most isn’t a highlight play or a full gym, it’s when energy is low, when people are ready to give in. That’s when Hawk strikes. His leadership through energy and effort becomes contagious, and it’s often the spark his team needs.

When facing adversity, Hawk doesn’t run but embraces it. He believes discomfort builds greatness and treats every challenge as a chance to grow. The best advice he’s ever received came from Coach Denny Lagrange, who simply told him, “Just shoot the ball, kid.” That freedom to trust himself, play aggressive, and rely on what he’s built has shaped how he approaches the game. Hawk lives and breathes basketball, day in and day out, it’s what he loves, what he studies, and what fuels him.

Off the court, he enjoys spending time with family, listening to music, taking drives, being outdoors, and soaking in quiet moments under the stars. But make no mistake, basketball is life. And with that level of dedication, Hawk is building something special.

I assess that Hawk’s confidence, motor, and growth as a shooter give him real long-term potential. His ability to create his own shot, compete on the glass, and bring relentless energy makes him a valuable piece in any system. Coaches can count on him to bring consistency, fire, and a full-speed approach on every possession.

Hawk is evolving fast. As he continues to build strength, improve his handle, and gain more varsity experience, expect his production and impact to keep climbing. He has the tools, mindset, and love for the game to become one of the most reliable and exciting prospects in Kentucky’s 2028 class. The foundation is real, and he’s only getting started. His best is still ahead. Expect an even bigger upcoming season from this young star. Stay tuned
