Sseko brings a fierce, high motor presence that shows up on both ends of the floor. A hyper athletic guard, he thrives attacking downhill with speed and force, putting pressure on defenders the moment he turns the corner. He finishes plays with confidence, elevating through contact and using his athleticism to convert at the rim, including rising up above defenders when the lane opens. That aggressive approach is balanced by feel and control. He takes pride in running the offense, making the right reads, keeping teammates involved, and taking smart shots within the flow. On defense, he embraces the challenge of guarding the best player, bringing intensity, discipline, and a nonstop edge that fuels his team.
Sseko is currently averaging 15 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists, showing his ability to score, facilitate, and contribute across the board. His biggest improvement from last season has been his finishing, fully unlocking his athleticism and turning drives into powerful results. The work has translated into more assertive scoring at the rim and a stronger overall offensive presence. His focus now is on improving his off-the-dribble shooting beyond the three-point arc and continuing to elevate in ball screen reads to become even more dangerous with the ball in his hands.
Winning has already shaped his mindset. Winning a state championship last season was a defining moment, reinforcing the value of discipline, preparation, and making winning plays. He may not have a single rival circled, but his approach is the same every night. Bring defensive excellence, make the right decisions, and give every opponent the work. What keeps him going is getting stops and turning them into scores.
Sseko stays grounded by controlling what he can and focusing on daily improvement. The best advice he has received is understanding that, for his size and position, nothing comes easy, and the work must be multiplied. That mentality drives his goals moving forward as he looks to compete in strong national competition and quality AAU circuits to earn exposure. Off the court, he enjoys video games, watching shows, and breaking down basketball film, always finding ways to stay connected to the game.
With no current offers or interest, Sseko remains open and motivated. He came to America with a purpose to pursue basketball at the highest level possible while earning a college education on scholarship. His hunger, two-way effort, and commitment to growth continue to define his path.
I assess that Sseko offers a college program for an athletic guard who can pressure the ball, attack the rim, and run offense with intent. His defensive mindset, downhill force, and willingness to make winning reads allow him to impact games beyond scoring alone.
As his off-the-dribble shooting and ball screen decision-making continue to improve, Sseko projects as a more complete floor leader who can control tempo and elevate those around him. Expect continued growth, rising confidence, and a player who keeps pushing until opportunity meets preparation. Stay tuned.
