Griffin is a fierce competitor with a smooth, all-around game and a non-stop motor. He plays with pace, IQ, and poise, controlling the tempo and making high-level reads with ease. A sniper from the outside and a true mid-range punisher, Griffin knows how to pick his spots and create for both himself and his teammates. But what truly separates him is his grit. He’s a relentless rebounder, pound-for-pound one of the top five rebounding guards in the state, and a scrappy, high-energy defender who thrives on physical play. He’s the guy who’ll dive on the floor, take a charge, or snatch a board in traffic. Every time Griffin steps on the floor, coaches can expect toughness, intelligence, leadership, and a burning desire to win.

This season, Griffin posted 13.1 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 4.2 assists per game, stuffing the stat sheet and doing it with consistency. His biggest improvement was his ball-handling, tightening his control under pressure and unlocking more freedom in his offensive game. He’s now focused on becoming more athletic, finishing through contact, and using his crafty middy to unlock even more scoring options. He earned All-Conference and All-Tournament honors, a reward for the tireless work he put in all year long. He’s currently playing with TN United and gearing up for the NY2LA live event in Indianapolis, ready to turn heads and earn college looks. But his goals aren’t just personal, he wants to elevate his teammates, compete at a high level, and enjoy every moment of the grind. When facing adversity or trash talk starts flying, Griffin rises up. Take a charge, and he’s fired up. Need a stop, he’s on it. He plays with emotion, intensity, and unmatched heart.

I assess that Griffin’s blend of toughness, IQ, and rebounding prowess makes him a unique weapon in any backcourt. He impacts the game in ways stats don’t always show and plays with a chip that fuels winning basketball.

As he continues building his body and finishing ability, Griffin has the tools and tenacity to emerge as one of the most complete guards in his class. Expect him to be a problem for defenders and a magnet for college interest moving forward. We will just have to see how high he flies with sky-high potential. Stay tuned for a breakout season ahead.
