Karlea Stanley is a savvy point guard with a slasher mentality and a fearless edge that shows up every time the lights get bright. She thrives on pressure, embraces the energy of competitive games, and plays with a confidence that fuels everyone around her. Whether she is attacking downhill and collapsing defenses or stepping out to stretch the floor with her three-point rainmaker and punishing mid-range game, Karlea keeps defenders guessing and constantly on their heels. Her ability to score, facilitate, and defend across multiple positions makes her a true floor general who does whatever her team needs in the moment, and the numbers back it up as she is averaging 17.6 points per game, 4.5 rebounds, and 4 assists while impacting every phase of the game.

As a freshman, she reached 1,000 career points during the state tournament at Rupp Arena, a milestone that speaks to both her production and her readiness for big stages. That moment was not luck, but preparation meeting opportunity. She understands when to attack and when to create, showing growth in her decision-making and overall command of the game. Her biggest improvement has been her confidence and understanding of how to read defenses, knowing when to put pressure on the rim and when to set up teammates for open looks.

Her goals are to lead her team, continue developing her skill set, win district and region again, and return to the state tournament. Long term, she has her eyes set on playing DI basketball. She currently holds an offer from the University of Pikeville. She is grateful for the opportunity while continuing to chase her dream of earning a chance to play for the University of Tennessee. That vision is not just talk. It is backed by daily work and relentless belief.
