"Pressure Points and Paint Touches: A Guard That Lives on the Attack"

There’s a certain type of player that doesn’t wait for the game to come to him; he goes and takes it. Every possession, every touch, every opening becomes a chance to apply pressure and force the defense into tough decisions. That’s exactly the kind of presence Cole brings. A crafty combo guard with size, he plays in attack mode from the jump, slicing into gaps, getting downhill, and making defenders react instead of think. When the ball is in his hands, it’s not just movement, it’s intent. He’s looking for space, creating angles, and turning small openings into real damage.

What separates him is how he combines that aggressive style with control. He’s not just charging into traffic, he’s navigating it. Finishing through contact, adjusting mid-air, using touch and body control to still get what he wants, even when the lane gets crowded. Add in his ability to score at all three levels, and now defenders are stuck. Play too far off, he’ll rise and bring the rain from deep. Step up, he’s already gone, attacking the rim before help can even think about rotating. And while he’s getting his, he’s not forgetting the bigger picture. He keeps his head up, finds teammates, and makes the extra play when it’s there.

In his season, Cole backed it all up, averaging 13 points per game, 4.5 rebounds, 2 assists, and recognition with the All 12th Region Tournament Team and 12th Region Honorable Mention. Those numbers don’t just tell a scoring story; they show a guard who impacts multiple areas of the game. He’s mixing it up on the boards, helping initiate offense, and staying active beyond just putting the ball in the bucket. The kind of production that doesn’t need a spotlight to be effective, but always shows up when you look at the stat sheet.

The biggest improvement came in how he handled everything that comes with a full season. The ups, the down stretches, the physical play, the nights where nothing comes easy. Instead of backing off, he leaned into that adversity and kept pushing forward. That edge shows in how he attacks now. More confident, more decisive, more willing to go right at defenders and make them deal with it. His game didn’t just grow; it became more complete.

Now stepping into AAU with Kentucky Arsenal, the focus is simple, keep building, keep improving, and force attention. He’s chasing more than just good games. He’s chasing opportunities, chasing offers, chasing that next level. And the way he plays, that constant pressure, that downhill aggression, that ability to create and produce, it’s going to keep turning heads. Coaches aren’t going to see a passive guard. They’re going to see someone who comes to compete every possession and makes an impact in multiple ways.

What’s coming next is built on hunger. A rising senior who knows there’s more out there and is going after it with everything he has. No shortcuts, no waiting, just steady work and a game that keeps growing every time he steps on the floor.

Cole is a strong, attacking combo guard who puts constant pressure on defenses with his ability to get downhill and finish through contact. Brings a balanced offensive game with scoring at all three levels while still creating for others. He rebounds well for his position and plays with intent every possession. His willingness to attack and stay aggressive makes him tough to contain.

As he continues to develop, expanding consistency from the perimeter and tightening his playmaking will raise his ceiling even more. His style already translates well to the next level with his ability to handle physical play and create offense. With continued growth and exposure through AAU, he has the tools to draw real interest and make noise as a late-rising prospect heading into his senior year. Stay tuned.
