Elias controls the paint, cleans the boards, brings toughness, and makes opponents think twice before attacking the rim. The young big from Notre Dame HS already carries himself with the mentality of somebody who wants to own every inch inside, and his game continues to grow bigger with every season.

In his own words, Elias sees himself as a dominant force controlling the paint and rebounding everything in sight. That mentality shows up in the way he attacks the game. He embraces physical basketball, plays with energy, and brings a nonstop motor that keeps him active around the rim on both ends. What separates Elias is that his game is growing beyond just size and strength. He is a big with soft hands, good feet, great size, and elite passing ability for his class. He can punish defenders in the paint while also stretching the defense with his middy game. That combination gives his game another layer and makes him far tougher to contain.

One of the biggest improvements Elias made during his high school season was improving his strength and stamina. That work did not happen overnight. He battled through adversity, trying to get his conditioning and speed where they needed to be, and it pushed him mentally as much as physically. The grind was tough, but Elias attacked it head-on and ended up losing 20 pounds while continuing to build himself into a stronger and more mobile big. That work is already carrying over into AAU basketball and helping him stay productive at a higher pace.

The confidence really started growing during the high school season when Elias delivered one of his favorite moments of the year by scoring 20 points in a varsity game as a freshman. For a young player to step into varsity basketball and make that kind of impact says a lot about his poise and potential. Instead of backing down from older competition, Elias embraced the moment and proved he belonged.

Now, another major opportunity is in front of him with the TN Tigers. Elias is excited to join a program with a strong reputation for developing big men, especially centers who have gone on to play DI basketball and professionally. That history fuels him. He wants to continue growing his game, learning the details, and showing he can become the next name to rise through that pipeline.

This offseason, Elias has locked in heavily on his shot and ball handling. He knows he can already control the ball well enough in certain situations, but he wants to become even more comfortable handling pressure and expanding what he can do offensively. Adding those weapons to his already physical inside game could make him an even tougher matchup moving forward.

Every single time Elias steps on the court, coaches can expect energy, toughness, paint control, and relentless rebounding. He takes pride in bringing life to his team both on and off the floor. Whether it is battling for boards, protecting the paint, or creating second-chance opportunities, he wants his impact to be felt everywhere.

One achievement Elias takes the most pride in is being recognized as the best defender on varsity as a freshman. That says everything about the effort, toughness, and willingness to do the dirty work that he brings every game. Most young players chase points first. Elias embraced defense, rebounding, and physicality while proving he could already affect winning basketball at a high level.

I assess that Elias is a young big with strong potential, given his size, toughness, hands, and willingness to do the hard work inside. He rebounds aggressively, plays physical, and embraces contact while bringing strong energy every time he steps on the floor. His passing ability and mid-range touch give him more offensive versatility than many young post players his age. The continued improvement in stamina, mobility, and ball handling is helping round out his overall game.

Elias has the tools that coaches look for in a developing modern big. He already impacts the paint defensively and on the boards while showing flashes of offensive versatility that can continue expanding with time and reps. His willingness to attack adversity, transform his conditioning, and keep working on his weaknesses speaks loud and clear about his mindset.
