Hunter delivered the kind of performance that lets everyone know he plans to make noise this season. He played with electric two-way fire, mixing a smooth shooting touch with a fierce defensive motor that never let Farwell breathe. From the jump, he spaced the floor, knocked down shots in rhythm, and attacked openings with confidence, then turned around and disrupted everything on the other end with active hands and relentless effort.
He finished with 19 points, went 5/9 from three, added 5 steals and deflections, and pulled down 3 rebounds in a dominant 77-43 win. Every number came from impact plays. The threes were pure, the defensive havoc shifted momentum, and the overall energy he brought lifted his entire team. Hunter showed he’s not just ready for a big season, he’s ready to take over games on both ends.
From the opening tip, Hunter played like he had already solved the puzzle. He read the defense early, recognized the loose 2–3 zone, and quietly drifted into pockets where space was waiting. The result was cpen looks, confident shots, and a rhythm that never faded. What stood out was how natural it all felt. He did not force offense or hunt shots. He let the game come to him, spaced the floor with intent, and punished openings the moment they appeared, all while staying fully engaged on the defensive end.
That shooting night was built long before the ball went up. Daily work in the gym, lifting, conditioning, and putting up hundreds of shots created a comfort level that showed in real time. His body was ready, his legs were steady, and his approach stayed calm. That preparation translated into confidence, especially in close game situations, where his shot looked the same every time it left his hand. The trust in his work allowed him to play free and aggressive without rushing anything.
Defensively, his impact was just as impressive. Hunter understands that defense fuels offense, and he made that connection clear all night. Active hands, sharp reads, and constant pressure turned stops into transition chances and shifted momentum in a hurry. Playing alongside his brother added another layer, creating a relentless defensive tandem that fed off each other’s energy. Together, they applied pressure that wore teams down and created scoring chances before defenses could get set.
Spacing and timing were the backbone of his production. On offense, he moved with purpose, waited for the right moment, and attacked when lanes opened. Open threes came from patience. Drives came from balance. Nothing felt rushed or out of control. By staying within the flow and trusting the offense, he was able to score efficiently while keeping the entire unit connected.
Even as the game swung heavily in his team’s favor, the edge never dropped. Hunter kept his foot on the gas, continued to defend aggressively, and stayed ready to knock down open shots. That mindset kept pressure on the opponent and made sure momentum never shifted back. As the season moves forward, his comfort level continues to rise, especially attacking off the bounce, finishing creatively, and using defense to generate easier offense.
Opponents lining up across from him should expect nonstop pressure, fast pace, constant activity, passing lanes under attack, and a scorer who feeds off defense and a defender who never gives a break. Every possession is contested, every mistake is punished, and every matchup is tested.
Hunter brings a program a guard who can stretch the floor, disrupt offenses, and maintain pressure without needing plays drawn up for him. His preparation habits and feel for spacing allow him to impact games through rhythm shooting and defensive disruption.
Moving forward, expect continued growth as his confidence attacking the basket and creating shots expands. With his pace, defensive mindset, and shooting base, Hunter projects as a guard who can become a consistent two-way threat and a difficult matchup as his role continues to grow.
