Eli is a smooth, shifty point guard with serious game. He plays at his own pace, has good floor vision, and makes smart reads possession after possession. Whether he’s raining shots from deep, blowing past defenders with sick handles, or dropping dimes to open teammates, Eli runs the show with confidence and control. He’s a reliable decision-maker who thrives under pressure and brings vocal leadership, hustle, and heart to every game. His ability to both create and space the floor makes him a problem for defenses and a dream for coaches looking for a true floor general who can lead and produce.
This past year, Eli’s entire game took a jump, from his shooting mechanics and finishing touch to his confidence and quickness. His shot became a true weapon, and he now finds his rhythm early and often. Getting to the rim with control and finishing through contact became strengths, and he's working this offseason to take that to another level while elevating his on-ball defense. He’s focused on becoming more efficient at the rack, staying locked in defensively, and continuing to expand his three-point shooting, knowing the smallest details make the biggest difference at the next level.
Eli brings a lead-by-example approach to the court, always giving max effort, talking on both ends, and taking pride in running the team. Every time he steps on the floor, coaches can expect a player who facilitates, hustles, and plays with purpose. During his AAU season, he focused on showing coaches that he has the skill and mindset to compete at the next level, and while he’s proud of his progress, he knows there’s more left to prove. His performance at the KC Classic stood out, scoring 23 points as one of the event’s top performers for LTDBasketball. Moments like that fuel him, but it’s the grind that drives him most.
Next season, Eli is all about winning. He’s hungry to help Spring Hill rack up victories, lead his squad with purpose, and continue building on his growth. Nothing fires him up more than reminding himself of the work he’s put in, and refusing to let it go unnoticed. He knows if he gives up, others follow, so he embraces adversity with grit and composure, always staying grounded in his faith and leadership role.
Off the court, Eli values time with family and friends just as much as time in the gym. Whether he’s hanging out with the fellas or putting in extra work, he’s locked into becoming the best version of himself. The best advice he’s ever received is, “Trust in the Lord and give it your all no matter the circumstances.” That’s how he lives, with trust, toughness, and a fire to lead.
I assess that Eli’s ability to run an offense, knock down shots, and lead with confidence makes him a true floor general with next-level potential. He brings the full package: IQ, skill, and an unshakable mindset. His combination of shooting, poise, and unselfishness will fit into any college system looking for a guard who values winning plays and sets the tone.
With continued growth in finishing through contact and defensive consistency, Eli is set up to be a huge stock riser his junior year. He has all the tools, the shot, the vision, the leadership, and the mindset to keep getting better. As he continues to build strength and confidence, expect his role to expand, his numbers to rise, and his name to start drawing serious attention across the region. Stay tuned for a breakout season ahead.
