**These selections weren't based strictly on who filled up the scoring column. ** Overall impact, winning basketball, versatility, toughness, leadership, and making the biggest difference when the lights were the brightest all played a huge role in these rankings. A few earned their spot because of everything they accomplished throughout the weekend, while others simply delivered individual performances that were impossible to overlook. Every name on this list comes from games I personally watched or from trusted sources that helped cover the action.
10. Nate Fridman | Fundamental U 17U | UA Rise

Nate Fridman quietly put together one of the most complete weekends of any point guard while helping Fundamental U roll to a perfect 6-0 record. Averaging 11.2 points and 5.0 assists per game, he balanced scoring with making everyone around him better every time he stepped on the floor. His ability to make shots, pressure the ball on the defensive end, and provide steady leadership gave his team exactly what it needed from the lead guard position. Winning starts with having someone you can trust with the basketball, and Nate proved throughout the weekend he was more than capable of filling that role.
9. Caleb Marshall | Stars Basketball 16U

Caleb Marshall caught absolute fire against Nova Village and put together one of the biggest scoring explosions of the weekend. He rained in 8 triples on his way to a 30-point performance, showing a lightning-quick release and unlimited confidence whenever daylight appeared. Whether pulling up in transition or spotting up beyond the arc, Caleb stayed aggressive and reminded everyone that it only takes one hot stretch for him to completely change the flow of a game.
8. Montez Gay | Griffin Elite 17U | UA Rise
Montez Gay stacked together an impressive weekend with scoring performances of 30, 24, 21, and 14 points in games I know of. Game after game, he found ways to put pressure on opposing defenses and consistently delivered offense when his team needed it most. His ability to keep producing against good competition earned him a well-deserved place among the weekend's biggest standouts.
7. Matthew Logue | Fundamental U 17U | UA Rise

Matthew Logue was the definition of a blue-collar diamond throughout the weekend while helping Fundamental U finish a perfect 6-0. His numbers tell the story of someone willing to impact every area of the game, averaging 10.0 points, 10.4 rebounds, 4.8 assists, and 2.1 blocks per game. He also had 5 steals against 1848, dished out 8 dimes against I4, handed out seven more against Peninsula Gold, gobbled up 14 rebounds against Peninsula Gold, pulled down 12 boards against VA Havoc, and poured in 20 points on a perfect 9-9 shooting performance against Team Tradition. Every possession seemed to include Matthew doing the dirty work that doesn't always grab headlines but wins basketball games.
6. Luca Filia | Nova Village 16U | UAA

Luca Filia stuffed the stat sheet from opening tip until the final buzzer of the weekend while helping Nova Village post a 5-1 record. Explosive with the basketball in his hands, he constantly attacked defenders off the bounce, finished through traffic, and created problems all over the floor. His weekend totals of 64 points, 32 rebounds, 23 assists, 13 steals, and four blocks showed just how much ground he covered on both ends. When your point guard impacts every stat category, winning usually follows, and Luca proved exactly why.
5. Porter Dickson | FBC Region 16U | UA Rise

Porter Dickson delivered two performances that were impossible to ignore. He caught fire for 10 made three-pointers during an 83-60 win over Team Northeast, then followed it up by hitting the game-winning three and 1 against Hooptown Elite to take a 62-58 win. Big shots have a way of sticking with people long after the final horn, and Porter supplied more than his share throughout the weekend.
4. Moma Sanogo | Canada Elite 16U | UAA
Class of 2029 standout Moma Sanogo was playing up on the 16U level, and even though I only watched one of his games, that performance alone demanded recognition. Against Grand Rapids Storm, he completely controlled the paint, finishing with 25 points and 17 rebounds while overpowering everything in front of him. For someone this young to dominate older competition in that fashion speaks volumes, and it was easy to see that this young talent has a very bright future ahead.
3. Preston White | Salt City Hustle 17U | UA

Preston White was the engine that kept Salt City Hustle rolling to a perfect 6-0 weekend. The floor general controlled the pace, made smart decisions, defended at a high level, and delivered whenever his team needed a big play. Averaging 12 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists, and 3 steals per game, Preston proved that impacting winning goes far beyond scoring. Whether attacking the basket, knocking down shots, creating for teammates, or making hustle plays on defense, he simply found ways to help his team leave with another victory.
2. Bubba Donald | Nova Village 16U | UAA

Bubba Donald put together a tremendous all-around weekend while helping Nova Village finish 5-1. The crafty combo guard scored from all three levels, attacked defenders with confidence, and brought energy every time he stepped on the floor. His final totals of 99 points, 9 rebounds, 10 assists, and 6 steals reflected the offense he generated, but his overall impact extended well beyond the stat sheet. Every time Nova Village needed a bucket or a momentum-changing play, Bubba seemed ready to answer the call.
1. Kobi Jackson "The Magician" | Redline 17U | UA Rise

The Magician earned the top spot after delivering one electric performance after another throughout the weekend. His consistency never faded, his production never slowed down, and his ability to completely take over games made him impossible to overlook. Kobi averaged 19.5 points, 4.3 rebounds, 3.8 assists, and 2.3 steals per game while shooting 44 percent from the field and 93 percent from the free throw line. His complete offensive bag was on full display, including a game where he made 7 triples, but his impact went well beyond scoring as he created for teammates, defended at a high level, and made winning plays all over the floor. Kobi helped lead Redline to a strong 4-2 record, and his complete body of work from start to finish made him my No. 1 standout from the UAA-UA Session II National Semifinals.
