Jase brings a crafty, quick, and versatile attack that starts with reading the defender and having an answer ready for whatever gets thrown his way. He doesn't make a move just to make one because he watches how his opponent reacts, then comes right back with something different to create an opening. Jase can attack the rim, slide into his spots for a smooth middy or burn a defense from around the arc, giving him three-level fire with plenty of ways to put pressure on whoever's guarding him. There's a natural feel to how he creates because he sees basketball almost like a dance, using his handles, footwork, and change of direction to keep defenders guessing while finding his way to the basket.

His junior season at Spangdahlem High School in Germany showed just how much responsibility Jase could carry as captain of the Sentinels. He averaged 21.9 points per game while also leading the team with 5 assists per game, helping them finish third in Division III at the Winter DoDEA European Championships. His biggest scoring explosion came against AFNorth International School in the Netherlands when he dropped 32 points, while another tough matchup against Black Forest Academy saw him battle his way to 21. Those performances were only part of a year that brought All-Tournament recognition and a spot in the DoDEA 2026 All-Star game. Off the court, he carried that same drive into school by earning Principal’s Honor Roll and Honor Roll recognition, showing that his push to succeed doesn't change when he leaves the gym.

The biggest improvement in Jase’s game came with his ball-handling because being the main scoring option meant defenses were going to send plenty of pressure his direction. He knew getting buckets would become much harder if opponents could knock him off his path or make him uncomfortable with the basketball, so he went after that weakness until the dribble started feeling like it was on a string. Becoming more secure with it has opened up his entire offensive bag because now his counters have more bite, his creativity has more freedom and his scoring touch becomes harder to take away when the first option gets cut off.

Confidence presented a different battle because there were times when nerves and anxiety made it difficult for Jase to settle into himself. Instead of letting that feeling control him, he learned to calm down, find his flow, and trust the game he'd built through countless hours of work. He understands that being jittery can happen, but he refuses to stay there and let fear become comfortable. That journey has helped bring out a fiercer competitor because once Jase settles into his rhythm, he stops worrying about everything around him and starts playing free.

Living overseas has also shaped Jase differently because many of the camps and exposure opportunities available throughout the United States aren't sitting right outside his door. He believes that distance forces him to work even harder because waiting around to be discovered won't create the opportunity he wants. Basketball in Germany has also taught him the importance of fundamentals, faster decision-making, and understanding what is happening instead of simply relying on talent. The experience has forced him to study the action with his eyes and mind, helping him recognize that knowing why something works can be just as valuable as being able to do it.

Behind the scenes, Jase has turned himself into a gym rat with a hunger built around being unknown. He spends long hours elevating his craft while working to get bigger, quicker, and stronger, knowing nobody else can make the sacrifices required to chase his dream for him. That reality fuels his fire because every workout carries a purpose, and every lonely session becomes another chance to close the distance between where he is and where he wants to go. There's no shortcut available from Germany, so Jase has decided his answer will be sweat, commitment, and an unwillingness to wait for somebody else to open the door.

His final high school season has plenty of goals, beginning with bringing home a divisional championship and adding first-team All-Europe recognition to what he has already accomplished. More than anything, Jase wants to enter his senior season prepared to give his teammates the best version of himself because he knows there won't be another one after this. That makes every practice, possession, and opportunity carry a little more weight, and he plans to empty the tank rather than walk away wondering what he could have given. The hunger is clear because this last run means too much to approach it halfway.

College coaches in the States looking at Jase will find someone willing to fill whatever role helps his team win. If buckets are needed, he wants the responsibility, while defensive work, bringing the ball up the floor, or setting somebody else up are jobs he's just as willing to accept. He describes his energy as 150 percent because playing halfway has no place in what he wants to become. His passion, grit and competitive edge come with leadership that has already been tested far from home, and he wants every coach watching to understand that whatever assignment is handed to him will receive everything he has.

I assess that Jase has a deep offensive bag built on change of direction, smooth shot creation, strong dribbling control, and an ability to read how opponents are guarding him. His greatest weapon may be the answer that comes after the initial move because taking away his first path doesn't end the possession. He can shift gears, change course and find another opening while remaining a threat from multiple areas. Add his vision as a passer and willingness to carry responsibility, and There's plenty in his game that deserves attention back home.

The overseas road has helped build Jase into a tough-minded guard who understands that recognition must be earned through daily work. Continuing to improve his body, defensive impact and ability to stay composed against heavy pressure can make him even tougher to contain. His hunger comes from knowing opportunities are harder to reach from where he lives, and that has created a drive that can't be measured by a stat sheet. Jase is chasing his chance with heart, toughness, and an all-in approach, and his final high school run gives him an opportunity to show exactly how far that grind has carried him. Stay tuned.
