Damian is an imposing force with size to dominate, high motor, and athletic ability, which makes him a serious match-up problem for defenders. Damian is a brilliant, controlled, and confident player who loves to get his team involved. Damian's greatest strengths are passing, taking advantage of mismatches, and shooting, Damian's versatile skill set allows him to dominate the block or slide out and bring the rain from downtown. Damian is a strong ball handler and fierce gobbling up boards like candy as he is strong and carves out space to have his way on the block and gets a ton of putbacks.
Playing for the Tennessee Impact, Damian wanted to become an automatic shooter because he believed if you can shoot it, your whole game opens up, Damian averaged 15 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, and 1 steal per game in AAU. Damian wasn’t on the best team and it pushed him to work harder and never be comfortable. Damien's goals going into next season will be to play his role well help his team get the best chance for a state appearance and win as many games as possible.
Damian's fire is the most fueled when there is a big-time atmosphere because he is confident in himself and the work that he is going to perform especially in front of a big stage.
When things aren’t going Damian's way on the court he keeps his head up and finds other ways to help the team out. Always demonstrating a good positive attitude.
A coach can expect Damian to always work his hardest and be very coachable, Damian will always give 110% doing everything he can to get the win at all costs.
Damian sees himself going D2-D3 because coaches look for kids who are different and have something that sets them apart from everyone else. He thinks that he has a very unique skill set for his size that involves everyone and is capable of playing defense and being a leader on the court
I assess Damian as a D2-level play now with a ton of potential room to grow into a force that could be unstoppable. There is no ceiling to how good Damian can be because of his size, skill set, and IQ alone. Add shooting and athletics with all his other gifts could push himself right into D1 when it's all said and done. There is something special brewing at Bearden with the up-and-coming young stars. You won't want to miss the ride.
