When Elin steps on the floor, defenses don’t get a break; they get a problem that stretches from baseline to baseline. Length, control, and confidence all collide into a player who can hurt you from anywhere. Face guarding doesn’t phase her, it fuels her. It only reinforces what she already knows: she’s a threat at all three levels. Whether it’s raining in shots from deep, rising into middy pull-ups, or finishing inside, she brings a scoring package that forces defenses to pick their poison and live with the results.

That kind of presence doesn’t come overnight. Earning 3x All-8th Region and 2x NKY D1/NCKC All-Conference honors is built on consistency, work, and showing up every day ready to improve. Hours in the gym, coaches investing time, teammates pushing each other, all of it stacks together. Growth didn’t happen in one area; it showed up across the board, building a complete game piece by piece and raising the standard every season.

The year had defining moments that shaped everything. From the jump, the preparation showed. Confidence built early, especially after breaking through with a 30-point game that shifted everything. That moment wasn’t just about scoring; it was about control. From there on, the game slowed down, decisions became sharper, and the ability to dictate tempo became clear.

Adversity came right in the middle of the season. A losing stretch after the All-A tournament tested everything. It forced a response. Instead of folding, the mindset shifted right back to work. Back to the gym, back to improving, back to staying locked in. That stretch revealed toughness and a refusal to stay down, and it showed up when the team bounced back and pushed into the regional tournament, something that hadn’t been done in a long time.

Improvement showed up in real ways. Rebounding numbers took a major jump, nearly doubling from the previous season, stepping up in a major way for a team that needed it. Scoring evolved, too, adding the ability to create off the dribble and making pull-ups, which opened everything else up. That added weapon made her even harder to guard, especially when defenders were already stretched trying to contain her range.

Postseason basketball brought another level of intensity, and that’s where everything tightened. Every possession mattered, every mistake was magnified, and the response was resilience. Winning that first district game and pushing forward with teammates made that run special, especially with a group still learning how to grow together. That bond and perseverance stood out as much as anything on the floor.

The accomplishments matter, but the team success hits different. Getting back to regionals, building something together, and proving what the group was capable of means more than any individual recognition. That’s where the pride sits.

Heading into AAU with Lady Vision Elite ‘27, the focus is locked in on continuing to grow. Becoming stronger defensively, continuing to expand scoring ability, and staying aggressive every game against high-level competition. Early events already showed that her ability to score at multiple levels translates, and now it’s about stacking that production consistently.

When coaches come watch Elin play, they’re getting more than just a scorer. They’re getting energy, focus, and a high-motor player who competes every possession. Someone who can stretch the floor, create offense, rebound, and bring a positive presence to a team on and off the court.

I assess that Elin is a versatile scoring threat with size and length that creates matchup problems across all three levels. Strong rebounder for her position with noticeable growth in physical play and production. Confident shot-maker who can create her own offense and stretch defenses.

Elin brings a skill set that fits the modern game, size, scoring ability, and versatility. Her ability to impact the game as a rebounder and scorer makes her valuable in multiple systems. As her defensive consistency and overall strength continue to grow, she has the potential to become a major contributor at the next level.
