Kolton is a walking bucket with ice in his veins and fire in his game. A lethal three-point sniper with electric bounce and court vision that dazzles, he brings a complete skill set to the floor that makes him a nightmare matchup. He can torch the net from deep, slice his way into the lane, or thread dimes that leave defenders spinning. His high IQ and feel for the game make him a true floor general, but his ability to light it up with a heat check from anywhere is what makes him dangerous. Kolton is relentless on the defensive end, locking up opponents with quick feet and active hands, while his length allows him to make plays off the ball. He battles on the boards, has strong handles and control, and feeds off the energy of his teammates, the crowd’s energy, or the heat of the moment. On a loaded team last season, he played his role to perfection. Now, with the keys in hand, he's ready to take over, and every sign points to a monster year ahead.

Last season, Kolton posted a strong 8.0 points per game on a stacked squad while shooting 50% from the field and 77% from the line, along with 3.4 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game. But his transformation has been explosive. Over the final 11 games, he averaged over 25.5 points a game, including a scorching 46-point performance against Meade County and a 36-piece against Holy Cross. And in the KHSAA State Tournament, Kolton made history, breaking the state single-game record for made three-pointers, raining 10 triples in one night, and putting his name permanently in the record books. This summer, he's kept the flames burning: 36 points on 9/10 shooting in one game at Eastern HS, 28 points at Hanover College on 7/8 shooting, and back-to-back days of 46, 30, 24, and 30-point performances against tough competition. His biggest improvement has been confidently creating his own shot and locking down opponents 94 feet. Now, he's focused on tightening his handles, reading defenses off pressure, and becoming more effective in ball screen scenarios.

Kolton plays with Kentuckiana Hoops on the Pro16 Circuit and is fired up to show out in Orlando for the NXTPRO/Pro16 Finals. His goals this AAU season go beyond stats, he’s about doing the little things, making winning plays, and leading from the front. Whether it’s a deflection, the extra pass, or simply getting guys into the right spots, he brings energy and execution. His fire is fueled by competition, he loves when the game gets tight and the stakes rise. And nothing gets him going more than feeding off his teammates’ energy and knowing they feed off his in return.

After embracing a sixth-man role the last two seasons, Kolton is stepping into the spotlight as a senior leader at South Oldham. With momentum at his back and a elevated skill set, he's coming into this season with unfinished business. His goals are district title, regional title, and state tournament. And he's not just talking about it but playing like it. He brings the whole room with him and keeps his team locked in through adversity. His mindset is built on trust, trust in his coaches, his system, and the grind. The best advice he's ever received is, "Buy-in, even when it’s hard." That’s exactly what he’s done, and now he’s primed to explode.

Off the court, Kolton enjoys pickleball, golf, fishing, and being outdoors. He values family, friendship, and staying grounded. But once the ball tips, he’s locked in, dialed up, and impossible to ignore.

Kolton’s combination of shooting, vision, and versatility makes him a potent weapon at the next level. He plays with confidence, knows how to control tempo, and brings value on both ends. His ability to create, score in bunches, and lead with purpose gives coaches a multi-dimensional guard who can change a game instantly.

Expect Kolton to keep rising. With his recent scoring surge, leadership role, and tireless work ethic, he's setting the stage for a breakout senior season. His development is real, his confidence is high, and his game keeps evolving. He’s a difference-maker, ready to dominate and deliver. Stay tuned.
