Lukas Dunham @LukasDunham1 , 5'11 , 160 , C/o 24 from South Barber High School, KS is an extremely aggressive combo guard that is pure triple threat scoring option. Crafty and quick with strong handles. Makes hard cuts with purpose and intent. Lukas can really bring the rain from downtown with smooth touch. Wicked first step that freezes defenders when he fakes and blows right by. Nasty mid-rage game and can finish strong at the rim. Lukas uses that beauitul three point shot to draw defenders play him tight which opens up the whole floor and his teammates. Lukas can really drop some sweet dimes. Mixes it up on the boards efeectively and Lukas can play some outstanding defense with a nak for getting into the passing lanes. Quick hands gets him lots of steals and deflections .
Last season Lukas averaged 11 points and 2.4 rebounds while shooting 37 % overall from the field and 30% from 3 point range adding 53 assist, 48 steals and 48 deflections. Lukas has make his biggest improvements in his ball handling, three point shooting range and his defense. setting the goal to average 17-20 points per game. Bigger goal is to have a good season while leading his team on a deep post season run.
Coaches should know what sets Lukas apart is his unlimited range with the ability to score consistantlly from almost anywhere on the entire court. His defense can be trusted at all times and his max effort and high energy are the things that sepearate him from anyone else. Lukas sees himself as a solid NAIA or D3 athlete if he continues to have a solid season.
