5’11” | Class of 2026

Cornersville High School (TN)

Hunter is a fierce, electric two-way force who brings explosive playmaking and relentless effort every single snap. As a dynamic offensive weapon and a gritty defender, he separates himself from others with a rare blend of patience, vision, and violent acceleration. His jump cut is downright nasty, sharp, sudden, and perfectly timed to freeze defenders in their tracks. But it’s not just his agility that makes him dangerous. He combines stamina, strength, and natural feel with smooth hands out of the backfield, making him a true three-down back who thrives under pressure. Coaches can expect toughness, heart, and impactful versatility, whether it’s making people miss in the open field, lowering the boom through contact, or setting the edge on defense, Hunter delivers high-level football in every phase of the game.

This past season, Hunter finished with 1,063 all-purpose yards on 145 carries for 759 rushing yards (5.2 avg), 9 receptions for 186 receiving yards (20.7 avg), and totaled 9 touchdowns (7 rushing, 1 receiving, and 1 on defense). On the other side of the ball, he recorded 54 tackles (49 solo), 1 interception, 2 fumble recoveries, and even took one back to the house. His biggest improvement has come through hard work on footwork and overall physical strength, giving him even more zip in his cuts and finishing power at the end of runs. He’s driven daily by his team’s record, using it as fuel to push harder through spring and summer training. His ability to process pre-snap tendencies, like how defenses rotate with receiver alignment, helps him anticipate blitzes, identify gaps, and make smart decisions before the ball even touches his hands.

Hunter’s offensive style is unique: he's patient but lethal, able to bounce outside or explode through the smallest crease. He’s not just a runner but also a pass protector, a route runner, and a consistent chain-mover. His soft hands make him a nightmare in the screen game or on wheel routes, and he takes pride in being that reliable weapon who always gets positive yards. Off the field, his focus and maturity stand out. He knows he only gets one shot at this and treats every play like it’s everything. He doesn’t talk, he performs. He’s open to any level of college football and is driven to earn every opportunity, not be handed anything. Already holding one NCAA offer from Millsaps and two verbal JUCO offers, Hunter is just getting started.

His goals are to find a great football program with a strong culture, a beautiful campus, and a coaching staff that believes in hard work and development. Hunter has grown up playing both sides of the ball, and that two-way toughness shows in how he approaches every rep with full effort, physicality, and poise. He lives the lifestyle, embraces the grind, and knows that nothing will be given, it has to be earned.

I assess that Hunter’s impact on both sides of the ball makes him a true Swiss Army knife for any college program. His ability to thrive as a three-down back, contribute in the pass game, and take defensive snaps speaks to his football IQ and relentless conditioning. He’s a coach’s dream being dependable, explosive, and fearless. He can step in and contribute immediately with his skill set and work ethic.

Hunter’s future is full of promise. As he continues to grow stronger and more explosive, expect him to emerge as a dominant playmaker at the next level. His patient yet powerful running style, combined with his awareness, physicality, and stamina, makes him a dangerous weapon in any offensive system. He has the mindset, skill, and heart to become a difference-maker in college football. Stay tuned.
