Tyler is a fierce, electric competitor with the heart of a lion and a motor that won’t quit, he brings an explosive edge to the floor as both a skilled point guard and a dynamic shooting threat. Whether he’s slicing through traffic off the dribble or rising up from deep, he plays fast, aggressive, and with complete control. His feel for the game is elite, reading defenses, dissecting pick-and-roll coverages, and delivering dimes like a surgical knife. But Tyler isn’t just about offense. He prides himself on being a tenacious defender who generates just as many points with hustle plays, stops, and quick transition reads. He brings fire to every possession and plays with the kind of grit that makes coaches trust him, and teammates rally around him. When the game gets tight, Tyler gets tougher.

Even after missing a portion of the 2024-2025 season due to injury, Tyler bounced back stronger, posting 11.2 points, 7 rebounds, and 7 assists per game. His ability to affect every area of the game shows how complete his skill set truly is. But beyond the numbers, his biggest improvement was his leadership. He took charge in big moments, kept his team composed, and never shied away from the dirty work, whether it was crashing the glass or keeping the energy up defensively. His focus this offseason is to elevate every aspect of his game, including tightening his handle, improving his shooting mechanics, and getting stronger so he can attack the rim with even more physicality. That playoff loss to Butler County in District stung, but it lit a fire. He knows they could’ve advanced, and he’s using that feeling to fuel his grind.

This AAU season, Tyler is playing with 17U Western Kentucky Elite Basketball Club, and he’s locked in on growth and exposure. The NXT PRO Finals in Orlando is circled on his calendar. This is a chance to show what he’s truly capable of now that he’s 100% healthy. He’s looking to make noise this summer, build momentum, and go full steam into next season with a chip on his shoulder. Off the court, Tyler stays locked in, drawing strength from the advice that shaped him: your body can go farther than your mind says it can if you’re mentally tough enough. That message has molded his mindset. What fuels him most is the fire of competition. He doesn’t back down but steps up.

I assess that Tyler’s versatility, toughness, and leadership make him a true asset for any program. His ability to play either guard spot, anchor a defense, and facilitate while scoring sets him apart. Add in his relentless energy and high-IQ decision-making, and he becomes the type of player who can lift a college team from the inside out. He thrives under pressure, plays through pain, and gives maximum effort from tip to buzzer.

Expect a significant breakout from Tyler moving forward. With his body getting stronger and his skill set evolving, his ceiling continues to rise. He’s a gamer, a grinder, and a fearless competitor who refuses to be outworked. His potential lies in how consistently he impacts games on both ends—and his passion guarantees that he’ll only keep getting better. Stay tuned.
