Hans is a gritty, high-IQ point guard with the ball on a string and the game in his hands. He’s a dynamic floor general who controls pace, sees the floor like a savvy veteran, and creates scoring chances with elite vision and confident decision-making. But what truly separates Hans is that he does it all. He’s a relentless rebounder from the guard spot, battling on the boards and cleaning up possessions with toughness. On defense, he’s scrappy, physical, and locked in, racking up steals, contesting shots, and never backing down from a matchup. Offensively, he’s a smooth scorer who can pull up, finish through contact, and thread dimes that carve up a defense. With a nonstop motor, strong frame, and leadership that lifts everyone around him, Hans changes the game every time he steps on the floor, and he does it with purpose, poise, and pure fire.

Hans averaged 9 points, 4 assists, 6 rebounds, 2 steals, and 1.5 blocks per game during the high school season, with his role evolving into one of his team’s go-to scorers and primary playmakers. Over the summer with Texas Takeover, he turned heads on the UA Rise circuit, scoring 33 points in bracket play at #SIB2025 and averaging 16 points, 8 rebounds, and 6 assists in his final tournament. He had a 21-point, 14-rebound, 6-assist double-double in Chicago and consistently showed he could take over without forcing the game. His shot-making, patience, and middy have become real weapons, and his confidence is climbing with every rep. Though the team fell in the Sweet 16 of UA Rise, Hans’s impact never faded. He kept his squad locked in, on and off the floor, leading with energy and bringing his teammates together like a true extension of the coaching staff.

This upcoming season, he’s stepping into an even bigger role. Hans is ready to lead, not just by example, but with his voice, control, and presence. He’s focused on improving his defensive discipline to avoid foul trouble and fine-tuning his endurance and leadership as he grows into an upperclassman. He describes his game as controlled, intense, and unselfish. He’s a playmaker who reads situations, attacks with patience, and understands the value of rhythm and flow. His mindset is built on composure. He never hangs his head when adversity hits, always finding ways to impact the game through effort, defense, passing, and energy.

What fires Hans up most is playing alongside great teammates and creating moments that elevate the group. Trash talk doesn’t faze him; he lets his game do the talking. The best advice he’s ever gotten was, " Control what you can, your effort and energy."That mindset shows in every game, every cut, and every possession.

Off the court, Hans enjoys traveling, hanging out with friends, and staying grounded. But once he steps into the gym, he transforms into a general, commanding the game with patience, precision, and passion.

I assess that Hans brings the kind of leadership, toughness, and all-around production that coaches love in a floor general. His passing, rebounding, and defensive tenacity make him more than just a scorer but a difference-maker who gets things done across the board. His growth and grit are fueling a rise that’s only just beginning.

Hans is one of the most complete young guards in Texas’ 2027 class. As he continues to add strength and tighten his overall game, his ceiling will continue to rise. With his relentless motor, IQ, and team-first edge, expect him to keep shining as a go-to leader and a major impact player moving forward. Stay tuned to see just how high he flies.
