Kade plays the game with speed, purpose, and heart. A fierce competitor with a fast-paced, high-energy style, he’s the kind of guard who sets the tone from the opening tip, tenacious on defense, fearless off the bounce, and constantly looking to get teammates involved. He brings a steady mix of hustle, coachability, and IQ that makes him a true floor general. Whether it’s diving for a loose ball, picking a pocket, or dropping a dime off penetration, Kade impacts the game in every corner. His ability to shift pace, absorb instruction, and lead with toughness separates him as one of the most valuable backcourt pieces in Texas’ 2026 class.
This past season, Kade averaged 13.0 points, 3.0 rebounds, 4.0 steals, and 2.5 assists per game. His biggest improvement came from learning to read defenses, attacking the paint with patience, collapsing defenders, and finding the open man. That balance between aggression and decision-making elevated his play. He’s now focused on elevating his midrange pull-up, finishing stronger through contact, and adding consistency to his three-point shot. Even more impressive is the way he is getting rim grazers off lobs at 5’8 and is determined to boost his vertical until he’s dunking in-game. That mindset defines his work ethic, nothing is out of reach.
Kade is playing for the Weslaco Panthers this AAU season and averaging 18 points per game. He’s focused on identifying and attacking his weaknesses, so he’s even more prepared next fall. The Las Vegas tournament this July is circled on his calendar. He’s fired up to compete, grow, and turn heads. Looking ahead to next season, Kade has one thing on his mind: playoffs. With dreams of reaching the Sweet 16, he’s all in on leading Weslaco deep into the postseason.
The things that light his fire are getting steals, taking charges, pulling down tough rebounds, and those gritty plays that change momentum. When facing adversity, Kade stays grounded. He trusts his coaches, his teammates, and his own preparation to stay locked in and focused. His favorite advice came straight from his high school coach: “You can’t win games by yourself; you have to involve your teammates to succeed.” That team-first mentality defines his game and drives how he leads.
Off the court, Kade finds balance through faith, family, and fitness. He spends time with his brothers, attends church, lifts weights, and stays running, mentally and physically, preparing himself for the next level.
I assess that Kade’s nonstop motor, tough defense, and leadership instincts make him a difference-maker at the guard position. His willingness to do the dirty work, run the offense, and sacrifice for the team gives him high-level utility and the heart coaches love to build around.
With continued work on explosiveness, shooting consistency, and physical development, Kade is on track to become a complete two-way guard. His hunger, discipline, and fearless approach that translate well to his next-level dreams. He is poised for a breakout season ahead. Stay tuned.
