Jashaun is a fierce, high-octane guard who plays the game with passion, pride, and nonstop energy. He brings defensive intensity that’s impossible to ignore, picking up full court, locking up 1 through 4, and living to frustrate opposing guards with pressure and discipline. Offensively, Jashaun is a selfless, pass-first playmaker with a natural feel for the game. He attacks the paint with a nasty first step, collapses the defense, and thrives at finding open shooters in rhythm. His jab step is lethal, his middy pull-up is underrated, and he’s learning to run the point with growing confidence. What makes Jashaun different is his motor; he breathes life into his team with every stop, every dive for a loose ball, and every selfless extra pass. Coaches don’t need to ask for energy; he brings it every trip down.

This past season, Jashaun averaged 6 points, 4 steals, and 2 assists per game, but his impact went far beyond the box score. His biggest improvement wasn’t in numbers, it was in mentality. After starting the year, hesitant to make mistakes, he embraced his role and found confidence in playing freely. That change unlocked a more aggressive version of himself, one that attacks the rim with purpose and understands how to lead without forcing. Now with GXFTED Elite on the AAU circuit, Jashaun’s goal is to show college coaches his complete game, especially his on-ball defense and floor leadership. Every tournament is a chance to prove he's not just another guard but a glue guy, a DOGG on defense, and a tone-setter.

The highlight of his summer will be the NY2LA tournament, July 17–20, a stage he’s been working tirelessly for. And when it’s go-time, Jashaun feeds off the energy of team play, extra passes, hard closeouts, and stops that swing momentum. He knows how to keep a team fired up without losing composure. When facing adversity, he stays reminds himself and his teammates there’s always time left to fight. He’s a competitor who plays until the final buzzer, no matter the score.

Off the court, Jashaun keeps things chill with video games and movies, but once it’s time to lace up, he turns into a relentless competitor.

Jashaun’s energy, defensive tenacity, and team-first mindset are the kind of traits every coach looks for. He brings leadership through effort, sets a tone with defense, and sparks momentum with smart, aggressive drives and timely passes. His ability to guard multiple positions and create for others gives him instant value.
