Dario steps on the floor with full command of the game. He is a true point guard who controls tempo, creates opportunities, and delivers with confidence while playing with a calm presence that never gets rushed. Everything runs through his vision, his feel, his ability to read what’s happening before it fully unfolds, while orchestrating the game, setting the pace, and getting teammates involved. He knows exactly when it’s time to go get one himself, bringing that dangerous balance between playmaking and scoring that keeps defenses guessing every possession.
Starting as a sophomore in one of the toughest regions around, surrounded by four seniors, he didn’t just fit in, he took control, bringing consistency, poise, and a steady hand while earning trust possession by possession. Dario showed maturity beyond his years as he managed the game, kept everyone settled, and still produced at a high level, proving he could lead, produce, and elevate those around him against high-level competition like Ballard, Male, and St. X.
He averaged 11.6 points, 5.6 assists, 2.7 rebounds, and 2.1 steals per game while shooting 56.5% from the field, an eye popping 51.4% from three, and 75.6% from the line, Numbers that don’t just stand out but demand attention, showing a guard who values every possession, makes winning plays, hits shots from anywhere on the floor, and consistently makes the right read, combining strong efficiency with high-level decision making and confidence built through relentless work.
Dario's biggest improvement came from adjusting to the speed and physicality of varsity basketball while learning to trust his vision. He fully embraces his role as a starter, allowing the game to slow down for him as he shifts from reacting to dictating, playing with more control, more confidence, and more purpose each time out.
That growth is backed by the work, with daily commitment to skill development, multiple shooting sessions each day, training, and constant repetition, building a strong foundation that continues to show in his consistency and confidence. While his motivation comes from getting his teammates involved, seeing them succeed, and knowing he’s putting them in position to score, Dario embraces his role as a true floor general who takes pride in creating for others.
When facing adversity, Dario settles everything down, steps into leadership, identifies what needs to be fixed, and continues to compete without letting the moment get too big. He plays through everything, no matter how challenging it gets, while keeping his team composed and focused.
I assess that Dario is a high-IQ point guard who brings control, efficiency, and leadership to the floor, impacting the game with his ability to manage tempo, create opportunities, and score at a high level while maintaining strong defensive intensity and awareness, making him a complete lead guard who understands how to run a team.
Dario continues to show gŕrowth as he gains experience against high-level competition. With his production, work ethic, and feel for the game pointing toward a player capable of leading and impacting winning at the next level. As he continues to build strength and expand his offensive game, he has all the tools to develop into a highly effective and reliable floor general. Get this rising star on your radar early. His potential is sky-high. Stay tuned.
