Karter is an electric combo guard and a scoring machine. When he steps onto the court, Karter brings energy and passion. Karter's three-point shot is pure as silk, whether it’s on the catch-and-shoot or pulling up with just a sliver of space and unlimited range. But where Karter really thrives is attacking off the dribble, blowing by defenders to attack the lane and deliver fierce finishes, even through contact. A strong facilitator with hood court vision, Karter makes the right passes to keep his team flowing. Karter is also a relentless rebounder who dominates the boards and leads with intensity. On defense, he is rock solid, , making him a force on both ends of the floor.

Karter continues to elevate his game with steady improvement. Last season, he averaged 17 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 assists per game. While playing AAU for the Ohio Buckets, he exploded to 26 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists per game. This season, he’s on an entirely new level, averaging a smokin’ hot 30.5 points, 10.1 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 2.2 steals per game while shooting 40% from three-point range. His focus this year is on sharpening his ball-handling skills, knowing it will take his game to even greater heights.

Karter’s list of basketball accomplishments is a Regional Final runner-up, 1x District Champ, 2x District 1st Team honoree, 2x TAAC 2nd Team selection, and a member of the 1,000-point club as a junior. He is on pace to become his school’s all-time leading scorer, a milestone that reflects his hard work and consistency.

Karter is stepping into a new challenge as a more vocal leader this season. While he’s always been a lead-by-example player, he recognizes the importance of talking to his younger teammates, especially during critical moments. He’s working hard to build their confidence and keep them engaged throughout every game, ensuring the entire team stays locked in and ready to compete.

One game Karter has circled on his calendar is the rematch against Emmanuel Christian. After a tough home loss to them earlier in the season, Karter and his team are determined to make a statement on their opponent’s court. Karter knows leadership, rebounding, and hitting open shots will be key to securing the win.

The energy of the crowd and the bond with his teammates are what truly fuel Karter’s fire. Karter plays with his heart to represent his school and teammates with pride. When adversity strikes, Karter talks to his teammates to calm them down and take a deep breath, trusting that God has everything under control.

Karter draws inspiration from the wisdom of his head coach, who tells him before every game: “Remember, you’re playing basketball. Enjoy every moment and be grateful for all the people who came to watch, but don’t let it overwhelm you. A free throw is still a free throw, and a layup is still a layup. It doesn’t matter how many people are watching.”

Outside of basketball, Karter enjoys spending time with friends and family, golfing, playing video games, and growing his relationship with Jesus Christ. Karter also loves traveling to new places, experiencing different cultures, and making lasting memories.

Karter knows he must continue to show what he can do to reach the next level. Karter understands that having a strong season is key, but he also trusts that if it’s God’s will, the right opportunity will come. Holding an offer from Defiance College, with a strong connection to Lourdes University and ongoing conversations with Thomas More University, Karter is setting himself up for success in the next phase of his journey.

This season has validated Karter as an unstoppable force and a double-double machine on the court. Karte's relentless drive to improve, coupled with his fierce leadership and skill, is high-level, and he has established that he can not only compete at the highest level but thrive. With God guiding his path, there are no limits to what he can achieve without failure ever being an option. The future is bright for Karter as he blazes the trail to the finish of his high school journey into his next-level dream.
