Caleb is a high-flying, high-energy force of nature with a game built on power, physicality, and relentless effort. An athletic wing with a non-stop motor, he lives downhill, attacking defenders with force, exploding through contact, and punishing the rim with highlight-reel dunks. He’s a nightmare in transition and a load to deal with in the halfcourt, constantly creating pressure by attacking angles and forcing help. His ability to simplify the game, read the floor, and overpower defenders gives him a unique edge. Caleb doesn’t need a deep bag of tricks; he relies on timing, strength, and instincts to impose his will. Coaches get a player who doesn’t take possessions off, plays with real emotion, and brings an undeniable presence every time he steps on the court.

Caleb averaged 22.6 points, 6.9 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 2.6 steals, and 1.1 blocks per game this past season, while shooting 59% from the field, 36% from three, and 78% from the line. His biggest improvement was his shot-making, adding a reliable three-ball and midrange pull-up that opened the court and raised his confidence. Now defenders can’t just sit back and wait on the drive. This offseason, he’s focused on building his strength, refining his handle, and continuing to elevate his shooting, all while improving his athleticism in the weight room. The most impactful moment of his season was finally cashing in on years of dominance with a 4A State Championship, after entering the tournament as the number one seed for three straight years. His individual achievements are just as impressive, earning the Metro League Player of the Year, 4A Player of the Year, and 1st Team All-State. And with offers from Fort Lewis College and CSU Pueblo, the recruiting buzz is heating up.

This summer, Caleb is playing for Pluto Prospects and competing on the biggest AAU stages, including the one he dreamed about for years, Augusta, Georgia. From watching Peach Jam as a kid to finally playing on the same floor, it’s a full-circle moment that shows just how far he’s come. His goal is to get noticed, earn more offers, and have a real choice in where his basketball path continues. Looking ahead to his senior season, Caleb is fired up to lead a younger squad and chase back-to-back state titles, this time as the seasoned vet and go-to leader.

What fuels him on the court is pure joy, those moments where he can stop, smile, and soak in what makes basketball special. Even through adversity, like last summer’s elbow dislocation that slowed his recruitment, he found clarity that the game is meant to be fun, and every opportunity to play is a gift. That mindset, playing freely, confidently, and with passion, is what unlocks his full potential. The best coaching advice he’s received is "Enjoy the game, and play with confidence." Off the court, Caleb enjoys learning and growing, always curious and eager to understand the world around him. Balancing hoops with academics, friends, and self-growth helps him stay grounded and hungry.

I assess that Caleb brings a rare combination of physical dominance and emotional poise. His slashing ability, defensive disruption, and improving shot make him a versatile weapon on both ends of the floor. He impacts games in a variety of ways, scoring, rebounding, defending, and leading. For a college program, he offers immediate toughness, a winning pedigree, and the kind of motor that can shift momentum.

Expect Caleb to keep rising. He’s already proven he can dominate at the high school level, and with continued development in his handle and jumper, his potential is sky-high. With a college-ready body, a fierce mentality, and a love for the game that shines through in everything he does, Caleb Fay is a name to know and a player built for the next level. Stay tuned for a breakout season.
