Freakishly athletic and ultra-confident with the ball, Benton brings energy, creativity, and fearless scoring ability to every possession. There’s no off switch to his game, just full-speed, full-intensity playmaking that commands attention.

This EYBL Peach Jam season, Benton averaged 20 points and 4 assists per game while achieving a massive personal milestone, earning his spot at Peach Jam. He’s been on a tear as a rising star, taking on elite competition and standing tall as a go-to scorer and steady decision-maker. One of his biggest areas of improvement was handling pressure and staying composed in the face of the press, cutting down turnovers, and keeping his team in control. Benton’s locked in this offseason on adding a consistent middy to an already explosive skill set, while staying conditioned and ready for next AAU season. What fires him up most is scoring a tough bucket. That edge, that fire, that fight, is what separates him. And when facing adversity, he resets with a deep breath and moves on, never rattled.

The EYBL experience helped Benton improve across the board, battling high-level talent and walking away sharper and hungrier. He hasn’t played high school ball yet, but coaches can expect a fierce competitor who doesn’t turn the ball over and can fill it up from anywhere. He’s a fearless scorer with the confidence and calm to lead in big moments. The best coaching advice he’s ever received is, "play with confidence", something he’s taken to heart. Off the court, Benton enjoys relaxing with video games, but once he’s on the court, he’s all gas, no brakes.

Benton’s ability to blow by defenders, score at will, and create for others makes him a nightmare to guard and a weapon for any offense. His ability to limit turnovers under pressure and deliver in the clutch gives him early signs of a floor general with star-level scoring instincts. His relentless drive and ability to light up the scoreboard will immediately impact any high school program, and eventually, the next level.

As Benton grows and expands his midrange game, expect his scoring arsenal to become even tougher to contain. His athleticism, toughness, and early EYBL experience give him an edge few in his class have. With the fire he plays with, the sky’s wide open for this bucket-getter.
