Ry can be described as a dynamic dual-threat stud and a tough match-up nightmare. With Ry, you have to pick your poison. Ry has a beautiful touch from three land, but is explosive off the bounce and can blow by defenders at will or score right over them. Ry is also effective in the seams and loves to get out and run in transition for high-flying finishes with flare. Ry can create his shots very well. Most important is Ry's defense as he loves playing tenacious defense. He can guard all 5 positions at a high level because of his length, speed, and athleticism. Ry takes pride in the fact that his greatest strengths are his defensive, shot-making of the dribble, and getting his teammates involved.

Ry averaged 18 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists a game as a JV player before moving up to the varsity level as a freshman. The most motivating thing that happened to Ry last season that will push him moving forward was getting his first in-game dunk. Ry's goals for next season will be to help his team in every possible while finding ways to be successful, whether it’s on or off the court. Ry leads by example allowing his coach and teammates to put their trust in him to make the right play, shot, or play the right defensive assignment.

Ry's AAU goal for this upcoming season is to play for a circuit team against good players to get better while improving more on finishing in the paint. Also, making smart decisions when under pressure.

What fuels Ry on the court is when other players or coaches doubt him. This just makes him want to prove them wrong by taking his game to another level.

Ry takes adversity in games very well. Ry doesn’t have to score big numbers to be efficient and effective for his team. Ry looks at it like there are a million things he can do on the court to help them win a game. Ry can get defensive stops, a huge rebound, a good pass, take a charge, or even hit a clutch shot. Ry just tries to stay positive and say to himself let your next play be a better one.

A coach can expect a real unselfish player who is a leader who gets his teammates involved and never gives up no matter the situation. Ry is very coachable and not afraid to learn from his mistakes to become a better player.

Ry has always had a dream to play at the Division 1 level but as he got older he started to realize that anyone playing at the next level is a dream whether it is D1, D2, D3 Juco, etc.

I assess Ry as an electric talent who made a big enough statement as a freshman to merit a spot on the varsity team. Over the summer Ry continued to improve and elevate his game raising the ceiling even more. His attention to both ends of the court, IQ, and pure athletic ability to match his intangibles make him extremely high stock value. He is coachable and hungry. It's going to be a fun ride to see how high he can fly. It's going to be a huge upcoming season. Stay tuned.
