Caleb has a way of making everyone on the floor feel involved. He sees a teammate cutting, spots a shooter ready for the ball, and knows when to slow things down or get the offense moving. His game is versatile and built on making the right play, whether that means setting up a basket, helping on defense, or giving his team a steady voice when it needs one. He takes pride in playing for his teammates, and that shows in the way he shares the ball and trusts them to finish.
Last season gave Caleb a chance to learn while playing behind elite talent. He watched how experienced teammates competed, found his own opportunities to contribute, and gained the confidence to do more when his name was called. That time helped him understand what it takes to play at a high level and gave him a foundation to build on. He carried those lessons with him as he worked toward a bigger role.
One game showed what Caleb can do when he and his teammates find their rhythm together. He dished out 14 dimes as the ball kept moving and his teammates got into spots where they could score. Caleb credits them with knocking down shots, but his reads and trust helped get the ball there. He was looking for ways to involve everyone, and each pass helped keep the offense humming.
Caleb says his biggest improvement has come in his decision-making and confidence. He's more comfortable reading what's in front of him, choosing when to pass, and trusting himself to make a play. Things didn't always go his way, but he kept working through those stretches and stayed with the daily work. That persistence has helped him become steadier with the ball and more sure of what he can give his team.
The summer gave Caleb different competition and a chance to see where his game stood. Each matchup pushed him to make reads, adjust, and find the skills he wanted to work on before the season. He used those games to prepare for tougher challenges and came back with a better feel for what it will take to help his team win. Competing against different talent also gave him another chance to trust the improvements he had made.
His offseason work went beyond the basketball court. Caleb added 15 pounds while continuing to train his body, stay in shape, and protect the athleticism that helps his game. He wanted the added strength to help him compete without losing the movement he relies on to defend and run the offense. That balance has taken work behind the scenes, and he's kept at it because he wants to be ready when his team needs him.
The underrated part of Caleb’s game is how much he does for his teammates. He communicates, sees an opening before a pass is there, and looks for ways to get another player going. Scoring may grab attention, but Caleb gets just as much satisfaction from seeing a teammate finish after he found him at the right time. His court vision and willingness to share the ball give his team another way to create a good shot.
Caleb wants to help his team win and make a deep postseason run. He's also pushing to develop his game and earn an opportunity to keep playing basketball after high school. Those goals mean a lot to him, and he wants the work he's put in to show when the season gets tough. He's ready to give his team his voice, his vision, and whatever the game calls for.
His family, his goals, and the hours he has invested in basketball fuel his fire. Caleb knows where he wants to go, and he's motivated to prove to himself that he can get there. That drive keeps him working and gives him another reason to show up for his teammates every time he steps on the court.
Caleb’s court vision and feel for the game help him connect with his teammates and keep the offense moving. He can read the defense, find a teammate in a good spot, and control pace when the game calls for a calmer possession. His team-first approach carries to the defensive end, where his communication and athleticism help him stay engaged.
Caleb has the potential to grow into an even stronger lead guard as his confidence and physical strength continue to develop. His passing instincts, unselfish play, and ability to bring teammates into the action can give an offense real energy. He has the skills to make his mark through smart decisions and the competitive drive to keep expanding what he brings to his team.
