Tayyeb is electric every time he steps onto the court, with a quick release that is smooth and lethal, the kind of shot that makes defenders scramble before the ball even leaves his fingertips. He weaves through traffic like a seasoned veteran with dynamic footwork and crafty handles, then pulls up with a fearless jumper that barely grazes the net. From deep-range bombs to smooth midrange pull-ups, he’s a scoring machine who needs just a sliver of daylight to do damage. But what makes him dangerous isn’t just his skill, it’s the explosive confidence that’s finally caught up with his talent. Tayyeb isn’t just a threat from beyond the arc; he’s evolving into a fearless attacker.

Tayyeb's mindset shift this season was the most powerful part of his growth: embracing the aggression it takes to drive through contact and finish at the rim. He’s no longer hesitant. He’s hunting buckets. Averaging 24 points, 4 assists, 2 steals, and 2 rebounds per game, he’s the engine that drives his team forward. His biggest leap this season? Confidence. Last year, it flickered. This year, it roars. And with an offseason dialed in on getting reps, pushing his limits, and building consistency, the next version of Tayyeb promises to be even more dangerous.

This summer, the focus is simple: outwork everyone. Tayyeb isn’t chasing perfection, he’s chasing his best version of himself. That means long hours in the gym, tightening his handle, elevating his finishing, and becoming an even stronger playmaker. He’s still sorting out where he’ll land for AAU this year, but wherever he goes, the mission is to: ball out, lead, and compete. He’s not just playing for numbers, he’s playing to lift his teammates, to win games, and to show the world what a London hooper can do on any stage.

Off the court, Tayyeb’s love for the game doesn’t slow down. He watches film, studies players, and feeds his obsession with constant growth. But he also enjoys chilling with friends, soaking in music, and taking moments to reflect. That reflection fuels his fire. When the lights are on and the crowd is watching, it’s the memory of his younger self, the one who dreamed of this moment, that pushes him forward. He plays for him. He plays for every step it took to get here.

When facing adversity, Tayyeb stays cool. Composed, steady, and focused, he blocks out the noise and leans into positivity. He knows that setbacks are part of the process, and instead of folding, he uses adversity as fuel. The best advice he’s ever carried onto the court is “It’s you vs you” and “just shoot.” Those words are more than a reminder, they’re a mindset.

I assess that Tayyeb is a high-octane guard who brings both firepower and finesse to the floor. His scoring ability is elite for his age, and now that confidence is catching up to skill, he’s becoming a complete offensive weapon. His impact goes beyond the scoreboard as his energy, leadership, and composure make him a tone-setter. Tayyeb's strengths start with his dynamic scoring ability. His range is deep, his shot mechanics are fluid, and his release is fast enough to create separation even against tight pressure. He doesn’t need much space to make teams pay, and that gravity opens up opportunities for both himself and his teammates. His crafty ball-handling allows him to break defenders down off the dribble, and he’s becoming more confident finishing at the rim, an area where he’s already shown flashes of explosiveness and touch. His court vision is improving, and his willingness to share the ball shows maturity beyond his years. Defensively, his quick hands and instincts help create turnovers, and as he continues to develop physically, his impact on that side of the ball will only grow.

For a college program, Tayyeb brings immediate scoring ability, a fierce competitive edge, and the kind of mindset coaches dream about. His passion for growth, attention to detail, and ability to handle adversity make him an ideal long-term investment. As he builds strength and polishes his all-around game, expect him to become a go-to guard capable of changing the pace and momentum of any contest.

Expect more. More buckets. More leadership. More growth. Tayyeb’s potential is powerful and he’s chasing it with everything he’s got. Stay tuned.
