Rhyley is a steady, pass-first guard who values getting his teammates involved as much as creating his own shot. With a quick first step and good pace, he operates well out of the pick-and-roll, showing strong vision and a fierce handles that allows him to keep the offense flowing. He has the ability to rain threes, is crafty around the rim, and brings defensive versatility with the ability to guard multiple positions. Coaches can expect him to bring effort, composure, and an unselfish approach every time he’s on the floor.

This past season, Rhyley averaged 8.7 points, 3 rebounds, and 5 assists over 15 games in the U18 Championship, while also averaging 6.3 points, 2 rebounds, and 4 assists per game in16 games in the Senior Men’s Shield, despite battling injury early on. He biggest improvement has come in understanding of the game and his improved shooting as key to his development. His offseason focus has been on footwork, strengthening his handle, and becoming more consistent in the mid-range, all while building confidence to become a tougher matchup moving forward.

A major highlight of his season was the opportunity to travel with Strive Basketball Australia to the United States, testing himself against a different style of play and proving he could compete at that level. He thrives when the crowd and bench bring energy, feeding into his competitive fire, and he relies on his resilience from past experiences when facing adversity. Looking ahead, Rhyley is determined to continue building his game, step into a bigger role, and help his team compete at a higher level.

Off the court, he enjotsspending time with family and friends. The best advice he carries with him is, "Shoot every day and always have fun with the game".

I assess that Rhyley’s vision, passing, and ability to control the game’s tempo make him a strong piece for a college program looking for a guard who plays with poise and gets everyone involved. His steadiness and composure will allow him to contribute right away in a system that values team-first play.

Continued growth in strength, footwork, and scoring consistency could elevate Rhyley into a difficult two-way guard to match up with. As his confidence grows and his mid-range game develops, expect him to become a more complete player who can both lead an offense and take over when needed.
