Kaufman Jr High, TX

Nate is a rising field general who doesn’t just play the quarterback position but commands it with an edge, intellect, and intensity that’s well beyond his years. With a strong arm, crafty vision, and electric energy in every rep, Nate is the kind of quarterback who walks into the huddle and immediately makes everyone around him believe. He’s got the touch to drop dimes, the mechanics to stay consistent, and the ability to read defenses like a savvy vet. Pre-snap, he’s studying every shift and cue, directing traffic, and making sure his unit is locked in. His leadership shows in his hustle, his encouragement, and the way he embraces every detail of the position. Coaches can expect a fierce competitor who leads by example, brings fire to every play, and attacks adversity with courage and class.

Though his junior high offense focused heavily on the run, Nate made the most of every passing opportunity, completing 12 of 18 passes for 165 yards and four touchdowns while managing the offense with poise and control. In 7-on-7 play with his school, he lit it up, throwing 16 touchdowns in 10 games and leading his squad to a tournament championship in their first outing. But it’s not just stats that speak for him; it’s his relentless effort to improve. This offseason, he worked under elite QB minds like Josh Neiswander, Brad Fraizer, and Ty Burleson, fine-tuning his mechanics, footwork, and off-platform throwing. That experience, combined with his hunger to get better, earned him a Spotlight Player award at QB Ranch and an invite to their elite camp. He’s also headed to the prestigious Manning Passing Academy, because as Nate says, “To be the best, you have to learn from the best.”

Nate’s biggest improvement this year has been in his footwork and arm strength, but what sets him apart is how seriously he takes every part of his role. He studies the defense, locking in on safeties and linebackers to diagnose coverage, and makes sure every play starts smoothly, with his offense in position. Fueled by faith, he stays grounded in his identity in Christ, knowing his worth isn’t defined by stats or rankings. That perspective helps him handle adversity with humility and focus. He seeks feedback, applies it, and keeps working. His goal is to play D1 or D2 football and earn a great education, but he’s leaving it in God’s hands and staying ready to chase every opportunity that comes his way.

Nate’s also a tone-setter off the field. He believes a QB should be the first one in and the last one out. He pushes himself in the weight room, listens to his coaches, and leads with gratitude, humility, and a team-first mindset. Whether he’s celebrating with teammates, grinding through drills, or studying film, he’s always locked in. And when the lights come on, he’s at home. Football isn’t just something he does. It’s who he is.

I assess that Nate brings leadership, discipline, and deep football intelligence to the quarterback position. His ability to read the field, manage a game, and encourage his teammates makes him a true leader. Coaches can expect a steady force who plays with heart, conviction, and maximum effort every single down.

As Nate continues to grow physically and elevate his tools, he has the potential to become one of the top quarterback prospects in his class. He’s already showing flashes of brilliance with his decision-making, mechanics, and mental approach. With his hunger, faith, and competitive fire, there’s no question he’ll continue rising on the field, in the classroom, and in the eyes of programs built on culture, work ethic, and excellence. Stay tuned.
