Clay Robertson, @clayrobertdon7, 6'2 c/o 25 from Spring Valley High School is an electric young star is a phenomenal athlete. Clay is a triple-threat scoring machine. He has a beautiful touch from deep with unlimited range. Can deliver from anywhere on the floor. Clay is explosive off the bounce and a beast in transition. With some nasty handles, Clay punishes defenders and keeps them off balance and with his quick pull-up ability it's almost unfair. Can't sleep on his passing ability either. Really good court vision to find open or cutting teammates. Can be a lockdown defender. In the AAU session, Clay blew up out there and put on a dazzling display of his talent. He took his defense to another level which in my mind was the biggest improvement and what I challenged him the most on. Boy did he deliver? I watched Clay become the leader of that loaded #WV Hustle team. Clay averaged 21.3pt, 6.2reb, 5.4ast, and 3stl pet game. Setting the tone for a monster upcoming session. Just watched him shine bright among the best players in WV at the @WVprepbb showcase averaging 13pts, 3reb, 3st, and 2 St in limited minutes. Clay averaged 18.5pt, 4.7reb, 4.5ast, 4 stl per game last year.
