When Colton steps on the field, offensive lines better brace for impact. This explosive wrecking ball brings a fierce, aggressive motor and raw strength that separates him from nearly every defensive lineman in his class. Built like a tank but moving with purpose and aggression, Colton is a dynamic edge disrupter who thrives in chaos. He doesn’t just take on blocks, he punishes them, exploding through gaps with violent hand placement and textbook pad level. Coaches can count on one thing: Colton will never take a snap off. Every play is met with max effort, relentless pursuit, and a powerful drive to dominate the line of scrimmage.

Last season, Colton made a huge impact with over 60 tackles, 10 sacks, two forced fumbles, and a fumble recovery, numbers that don’t just speak to production but to constant backfield presence. His biggest improvements have come in the details, his stance, leverage, pad level, and ability to diagnose plays quickly by reading backfield motion and offensive line posture. He’s grown into a more complete player with smarter hand use and improved form. His offseason focus is on becoming even more explosive off the line and continuing to develop elite-level pass-rush moves. That hunger is fueled by a winning mindset and the pride of earning a varsity starting spot as just a sophomore. His motivation is to do everything possible to help his team win and never leave the field with anything left in the tank.

Colton brings much more than brute strength. His awareness and pre-snap recognition are steadily becoming weapons. He watches offensive linemen’s hands and hips, understands pulling guards, and adjusts on the fly. He brings a strong, explosive bull rush in one-on-one battles that makes most blockers collapse under pressure. Double-teams are no problem, he doesn’t shy away but disrupts them, often blowing up plays with quick-twitch bursts and sheer effort. He communicates with his line, fires off with purpose, and lives for the moments that require grit. Whether it’s a 3rd-and-long or a goal-line stand, Colton’s presence is felt and feared.

Off the field, he stays grounded in faith, driven by heavy prayer and a belief that hard work and humility will open the right doors. His dream is to continue playing football no matter the division—D3, D2, or JUCO. What matters to him isn’t status, it’s opportunity. He’s focused on staying coachable, giving maximum effort, and never backing down from adversity. Colton knows he's still learning the ropes of recruiting, but he’s hungry to soak it all in and prove himself to anyone willing to give him a shot.

I assess that Colton’s fierce mentality, explosive power, and high football IQ make him a nightmare for offensive coordinators. His ability to read plays, win one-on-one matchups, and lead with effort-first energy gives any college program a physical, passionate defender they can count on to set a tone. He brings the kind of toughness and leadership that can raise the standard of a defensive unit.

Expect Colton to keep evolving. With another season to dominate and fine-tune his skill set, his ceiling continues to rise. He’s the kind of relentless, hungry talent that programs at every level need: physical, coachable, and all-in. As his body and technique continue to develop, his impact will grow, and the offers will follow. His future in this game is built on grit, and that never goes out of style. Colton is poised to have a monster season ahead. Stay tuned.
