Tyler brings size, skill, and effort to the floor as a stretch guard who continues to grow into his role. He uses his length well on both ends, creating matchup problems with his ability to rain shots from the perimeter, attack the rim, and score inside when smaller defenders are forced onto him. His game is built on versatility, spacing the floor as a shooter while also using his height to post up and finish down low.

One of the biggest improvements in Tyler’s development has been his shot, especially from three. The confidence and consistency from the perimeter have added a new weapon to his game, forcing defenders to close out harder and opening up driving lanes. With added strength from the weight room, he has become more effective attacking the rim and playing through contact, showing flashes of how his body and skill set can work together.

Defensively, Tyler uses his length to bother opponents, affect shots, and be disruptive. He competes, brings energy, and takes pride in effort plays, whether that means using his size to contest, battling in space, or helping on the glass. As he continues to improve his ball handling, particularly against pressure, his overall impact continues to rise.

Moments like dressing varsity and scoring his first varsity points at Alcoa stand out as important steps in his progression. Those experiences have helped build confidence and reinforce what he brings to the floor. He understands the value of earning minutes and embracing a bigger role as opportunities come.

Tyler plays with passion and effort every time he steps on the court. Coaches can expect energy, competitiveness, and a player who genuinely cares about doing things the right way. When facing adversity, he stays calm, encourages his teammates, and focuses on making the next play, trusting preparation and team basketball.

Looking ahead, Tyler is focused on continuing to earn more minutes, expanding his role, and helping his team win. He approaches each game with urgency, playing like it could be his last, and that mindset shows in how he competes. Off the court, he enjoys playing video games with friends and staying connected to the people around him.

Though he has no college interests yet, Tyler remains committed to the work, understanding that development, consistency, and opportunity go hand in hand. His growth, size, and improving skill set point toward a player who is building something steadily and the right way.

I assess that Tyler brings positional size, shooting ability, and effort that allow him to impact the game in multiple ways. His ability to space the floor, use his length defensively, and score inside gives coaches flexibility in how he can be used.

Moving forward, Tyler’s continued focus on ball handling, strength, and confidence will be key as his role expands. With his mindset, work ethic, and physical tools, he is moving in the right direction and positioning himself for increased impact as he gains experience. Stay tuned.
