Alyssa is an efficient scorer with a high IQ. She sees everything developing before it happens and knows exactly how to attack it. Whether it’s breaking a defender down, getting into her bag, or creating open looks for teammates, she plays with a feel that’s tough to teach. There’s an energy to her game, a spark that keeps her involved in every possession. She doesn’t just score; she controls the flow, keeps defenses guessing, and brings a level of excitement that lifts everyone around her.

Joining the 1000-point club early in her sophomore season and already sitting at 1407 career points wasn’t just a milestone but confirmation. Confirmation that the work is real and the ceiling is still rising. But what makes that production even bigger is how complete her game has been. She finished her sophomore year with 482 points at 16.1 per game, while also pulling down 95 rebounds and dishing out 92 dimes, showing she impacts the game well beyond just putting the ball in the basket. That all-around presence, along with earning All-District, All-Region, and All-Area honors, paints the full picture that she’s not just a scorer, she’s a difference maker across the board. Most of that climb happened before her sophomore year even got going, which says everything about her consistency and hunger. But she’s not satisfied. The focus has already shifted to chasing 2000 and turning that production into an opportunity at the next level.

Being thrown into varsity basketball as a 7th grader forced her to grow up quickly. The pace, the physicality, the pressure, all of it demanded that she hold her own against older, stronger competition. That experience built a toughness that shows up every time she steps on the floor now. There’s no hesitation in her game. She’s comfortable, confident, and battle-tested in ways most players her age are still trying to figure out.

This past season showed clear improvement in her offensive arsenal. Her middy and floater game took a major step forward, adding another layer to a scoring attack that already included a lethal three-point shot. Now defenders can’t sit on anything knowing she’s just as dangerous pulling up as she is stretching the floor, and that balance makes her tough to guard in any situation.

Adversity hit in the form of losses and the challenge of leading a young team. That edge, that competitive fire, showed up in how much she despises losing. Instead of letting it break anything, it pushed her to take on more responsibility, bring teammates together, to compete harder, and to keep growing as a leader.

Postseason and offseason don’t look much different for her; it’s constant work. Lifting, running, finding open gyms, playing pickup whenever possible, and keeping a ball in her hands. There’s no off switch. That consistency is what separates her, and it shows in the way her game continues to grow.

Her time with Kentucky Premier and Richmond Heat helped shape her into the player she is today. Different coaching, different systems, different teammates, all adding layers to her game. Learning to adjust, adapt, and take pieces from each experience has made her more complete and more versatile.

Now with Lexington Crossover, she’s stepping into a new chapter. The adjustment is real, and she’s honest about that. A new team always takes time, learning roles, building chemistry, and finding rhythm. But there’s no doubt in her mind, she’s going to figure it out. That confidence, combined with her work ethic, is what makes this transition one to watch closely.

What drives her is getting recruited and earning that chance to play at the next level. And when people watch her, she wants them to see exactly what she believes about herself… that she’s a dogggg. A player who works year-round, brings energy, competes hard, and impacts winning. Not just someone who can score, but someone who can help a team in every way possible.

Her ability to read defenses, create her own shot, and involve teammates makes her a tough cover.
