Welcome to our Player of the Week feature! Each week, we showcase outstanding athletes who have demonstrated exceptional skill, sportsmanship, and dedication to their craft. But here's the twist – YOU get to decide who deserves the title of Player of the Week!
How It Works:

Nomination Period: At the beginning of each week, we open the floor for nominations. Coaches, teammates, fans, and sports enthusiasts can nominate deserving players who have shone in recent competitions or demonstrated outstanding sportsmanship.

Voting: Once the nominations are in, it's time for the community to vote! Visit my Twitter (X) and cast your vote for the player you believe deserves to be crowned Player of the Week. Spread the word on social media to rally support for your favorite athlete.

Winner Announcement: At the end of the week, the votes are tallied, and the winner is announced. The chosen player receives recognition, a featured story on our website, and, of course, the title of Player of the Week!

Quincy Mitchell put on an explosive show for Forrest HS, turning just 11 carries into a jaw-dropping 201 yards and 3 touchdowns in a 42-8 win over Creek Wood. Quincy was a home-run threat every time he touched the football, averaging over 18 yards per carry while flashing the burst, speed, and big-play juice to rip a defense open in a hurry. He brought that same energy defensively with 2 big pass deflections, putting together a monster two-way performance.
