"Where Shooting Meets Perimeter Toughness"

Travis Clark,

@TDClarkJr_C2028

Jr. 6’3, 180lbs, Class of 2028

Boerne Champion HS

Boerne, Texas (San Antonio Metro)

Travis brings balance and reliability to the floor as an athletic shooting guard who can stretch defenses and hold his own on the perimeter. He can really bring the rain from deep, and when defenders crowd him, he answers by attacking off the bounce and finishing at the rim. His game stays simple and effective. On the other end, he is tenacious on the ball, especially on the perimeter, and he turns stops into easy transition buckets that lift his team.

His role has grown quickly as his impact has become more consistent. Travis defends multiple perimeter spots, understands spacing, and plays within the flow while still being ready when moments matter. The trust from his coach has shown up in crunch-time opportunities, and he continues to work on ball-handling, court vision, and becoming a more complete offensive threat. Those areas of focus are already paying off as he becomes more comfortable creating and making decisions under pressure.

As a freshman, Travis averaged 1.5 points, 2 rebounds, and 2 assists. As a sophomore, he jumped to 10.9 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 3 assists, reflecting a bigger role and growing confidence. During a recent holiday tournament, he helped his team go 4-0 while averaging 16.5 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists, showing he can elevate his production when the stage gets bigger. In a recent district win, he added a steady all-around line, contributing points, rebounds, assists, and steals in a hard-fought matchup that mattered in the standings.

Travis’ goals are team-focused. He wants to bring consistent energy, grow into a more vocal leader, and do whatever it takes to help his team reach the state playoffs. Looking ahead, he is focused on getting stronger, making a bigger impact on the boards, and continuing to grow alongside his teammates. What fires him up most is when the team is clicking together, defending as one, and having each other’s back.

When facing adversity, Travis keeps things in perspective. He understands that making an impact does not require forcing the game. He stays within the team structure, keeps the same approach, and focuses on making good decisions when it matters most. Off the court, he enjoys video games and spending time working with his little sister on her game, helping her grow with the same love for basketball he has. Coming from a military family, service before self and being good for the community are values that shape how he carries himself, and that foundation shows in the way he plays and leads.

I assess that Travis offers a college program a dependable perimeter player who can shoot, defend, and fit into winning lineups. His ability to space the floor, guard multiple positions, and contribute without needing the ball adds real value.

As Travis continues to add strength and improve his handles and vision, his role will keep expanding. Expect him to keep evolving as a steady two-way presence with breakout potential as his confidence and responsibility continue to grow. Stay tuned.
