"Versatile Weapon with Two-Way Firepower"

6’5”, 185lbs, Class of 2026

Edgewood HS, OH

Kale is a long, athletic, and tenacious two-way weapon built to impact every possession. He’s a true matchup problem, able to defend all five positions with confidence, rain catch-and-shoot jumpers, create off the bounce, or drive and kick to set up his teammates. He plays with a fierce motor and smooth skill set, blending effort, IQ, and toughness in ways that few guards his size can. Whether he’s sliding into the lane for a help-side block or turning defense into transition points, Kale makes things happen. He thrives on momentum plays, big rebounds, chase-down blocks, loose balls, anything that fuels his squad. Coaches love his versatility, leadership, and energy, and he’s only scratching the surface.

This past season, Kale averaged 10.8 points, 4.7 rebounds, 3 assists, and over a block per game, while stepping into a larger role as both a vocal leader and consistent playmaker. His biggest improvement came in his overall aggression, doing more to win possessions and bring urgency on both ends. Whether he’s keeping teammates encouraged after a miss or creating extra chances with his motor, Kale's presence stretches beyond the box score. He helped lead Edgewood to a tournament win at Capital, thanks to suffocating team defense and effortless offensive chemistry. That same drive carried into his AAU season with Midwest Flyers Daley, where he accomplished both of his primary goals: winning games and gaining exposure. Coaches took notice.

Kale’s offseason has been focused on becoming more ball-dominant, elevating his ability to create off the dribble and score more efficiently from all areas. He’s locked in on evolving his offensive versatility while continuing to elevate his vocal leadership. Heading into next season, his goal is to win a state title. And he plans to do it by playing hard, doing the little things, and pushing his teammates to go all in. When facing adversity, Kale stays calm and simplifies the game. The best coaching advice he’s ever received is, "play every game like it’s your last."

Off the court, Kale enjoys time with family and friends, hitting the gym, and gaming. But come spring, he and fellow standout Tyson Daley will be back in action, two elite two-way talents hungry to keep climbing and prove they belong at the next level.

I assess that Kale’s size, versatility, and willingness to do whatever it takes to win make him a valuable piece at the next level. He can guard multiple positions, operate on or off the ball, and fuel team energy through hustle and selfless play.

Expect Kale to take another leap this year as a leader and all-around threat. With his improved off-the-dribble scoring and drive to win, he's putting together a résumé that college coaches can’t ignore. The fire, the focus, and the tools are all in place. Stay tuned for a breakout season ahead.
