Carter is a true stretch wing who impacts the game everywhere on the floor, bringing a versatile two-way presence with an offensive arsenal that keeps defenses guessing every possession. He can light it up from beyond the arc with confidence, rise up over defenders with a soft, controlled touch, or finish strong at the rim when space disappears. Carter runs the floor with intent, head up and processing the defense step by step, always looking for the best scoring opportunity for himself or creating an easy look for a teammate. His high IQ and elite court vision show up consistently, and his passing ability adds another weapon that makes him dangerous in any lineup.
The production jumped immediately when he returned from injury, and he wasted no time reminding everyone what he brings to the table. At the Mike Kerr Tournament, Carter helped lead his team to a championship while earning Tournament MVP honors. In the first game, he filled the stat sheet with 20 points, 5 rebounds, 5 steals, and 3 blocks, impacting both ends of the court from the opening tip. The second game showed his physical presence and dominance inside as he had 16 points, 16 rebounds, and 6 blocks. He closed the tournament with a statement performance of 27 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 blocks, controlling the game in multiple ways and delivering winning basketball throughout the run.
Carter describes himself as a stretch wing who can handle and shoot, and that skill set shows clearly when the pace picks up. He pushes the ball hard in transition, attacks downhill with purpose, and creates problems when defenders are slow to react. His biggest improvement has come on the defensive end and in getting to his spots with confidence. He continues to build his shot and expand his three-level scoring so he can punish defenders no matter how they choose to guard him. On the defensive side, he protects the rim with timing and purpose, throwing himself a block party and changing shots while also rebounding with force.
Carter’s goal is to win state and keep stacking daily work into long term growth. He is fired up to be back on the floor with his teammates and continue building chemistry after time away. Big moments bring out his best, whether it is throwing down a dunk or hitting a big-time shot when momentum is hanging in the balance.
When facing adversity, Carter stays positive and keeps his teammates locked in, refusing to let negative moments drag the group down. That mindset carries into how he competes and leads on the floor. His growth and impact have already been recognized at the next level, as he currently holds offers from Arizona State University and Mississippi State University.
I assess that Carter gives a college program a stretch wing with size who can score at all three levels, pass with vision, rebound with strength, and protect the rim with authority. His ability to impact both ends while keeping the game flowing makes him a valuable piece in lineups that want versatility and pace.
Moving forward, Carter continues to rise as his confidence, defensive intensity, and scoring package expand. With his size, skill set, and mindset, expect continued production and leadership as he keeps pushing toward his ceiling and proving he can impact winning at a high level. This rising star is just scratching the surface of his potential, and his best basketball is still ahead. Stay tuned.
