Cameron is a fierce, vocal, versatile shotmaker who brings intensity and intelligence to every possession. With a smooth shooting touch that stretches the floor from anywhere, whether spot-up, catch-and-shoot or off the dribble, he forces defenses to stay honest. His instincts and vocal leadership are evident on both ends, constantly communicating, rallying teammates, and making plays with purpose. Cameron thrives as a do-it-all playmaker, able to run the offense, defend multiple positions, rebound with force, and finish over size in transition. His defensive fire is fueled by a competitive edge that takes pride in making life miserable for his opponent and plays with a chip that’s contagious. No matter where he is on the floor, he brings versatility, hustle, and a team-first mindset that changes the energy.

Last season, Cameron averaged 4.5 points, 2 rebounds, and 1 assist per game in just 10 minutes of action while shooting 35% from three (22-for-64). What stood out beyond the stats was his growth in ball-handling and defense, two areas he poured time into. He’s not just adding skills, he’s building a game that can carry weight on both ends. This offseason, he’s focused on strengthening his handle, becoming a stronger finisher at the rim, and sharpening his defensive timing. The highlight of his high school season came in the regional championship battle with Taft, where he delivered 11 points and 5 rebounds and helped spark a team that had fought its way back from a tough start to a deep playoff run.

This AAU season, Cameron is playing with Midwest Basketball Club – Team McGlothen, where his goals go beyond the scoreboard. He’s out to build lasting relationships with coaches and teammates, rack up tournament wins, and prove he’s ready to play at the college level. This past weekend, Cameron averaged 15 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 assists per game while shooting a blistering 55% from beyond the arc (12/22). He’s especially excited about the Grassroots Championship in Louisville, Kentucky (July 18–20), a chance to showcase the full scope of his game on a big stage. Every tournament, every rep, every moment is a chance to become the kind of player who commands attention and lifts everyone around him.

Cameron is fired up by competition and loyalty. He refuses to let the player he’s guarding score and takes pride in laying it all on the line for the guy next to him. When facing adversity, he stays composed and falls back on the hours he’s invested in the gym. Trusting his preparation and leaning on his teammates is how he stays grounded. The best advice he’s ever received is “Control what you can control—your attitude and effort.” And Cameron lives that out with 110% every time he steps on the floor.

Cameron brings a powerful mix of elite shooting, vocal leadership, and positionless defense to the floor. He’s a glue guy with a high IQ, high motor, and the ability to stretch the floor, disrupt passing lanes, and make hustle plays that win games. His growth and focus on development show that he’s not just content with fitting in but preparing to take over.

Expect Cameron to break out this upcoming season. With a bigger role, improved handle, and continued defensive edge, he has the tools to become a go-to player and trusted leader. His potential lies in his versatility. He can adapt, elevate, and bring impact wherever he's needed. As he keeps evolving, his ceiling only rises, and college programs should take serious notice of what’s coming next. Get him on your radar now.
